What do you mean by legit PS4s? It's running on a PS4 Pro with the latest beta fw.

This is still going to break some games ,they have warnings about this right on the toggle option. They probably figured that its worth the risk.

Yes, it's system-wide Pro patch for all old PS4 games [but without miracles, what devs locked down [30fps locks for example] remain in place].

They probably wanted to give developers the chance to create PS4 Pro modes, and having games perform on Pro the way they wanted, before they flipped the switch to encapsulate those who didn't release Pro patches.
