So yeah. Watched dbz kai and really liked it. Especially the begets and Frieda arcs. Do I watch super or gt next? Which movies should I watch and in what order? Thanks a lot!

You can move on to Super. GT isn't canon and most of it isn't good. It's the type of thing you could check out later out of morbid curiosity

Of the post DBZ movies, you'd watch Battle of the Gods then Resurrection F. Although the first two arcs of Super are retellings of these movies with added material, so you could still just jump to Super.

As for the other DBZ movies, do whatever.

You should go back and watch Dragon Ball. After that watch the few good DBZ movies. Then move on to Super. GT is non-canon and 90% terrible,

Watch Battle of Gods and the Resurrection of F movies then you can skip like 28 or so episodes of super and jump to the good bits

Watch both newer movies (battle of the god and the freezer one ) and then Google where to pick up with super .

The first 20+ esoidoes of super are just a worse animated retelling of the movie

As I understand it GT takes place after Super right? Also, are you guys of the opinion that it's not worth watching the rest of the movies besides the ones that Super covers? That seems to be the case.

Repeating what I ansered in the DBS thread, Watch the movies Ressurection F and Battle of Gods, and then hop on board the DBS train from right after that arc ended.

Start with episode 27 if you want to skip the two movie arc retreads. The first arcs are pretty rough on the animation end so I'd just go there.

GT was removed from canon as Akira Toriyama had little to do with it other than art design.

Personally, I suggest you go back to the beginning. Start with Dragonball, which is very different than Z towards the beginning but becomes more and more focused on combat as time goes on. Later episodes are just as good as the best DBZ episodes.

Then, rewatch DBZ but the real version, not the Kai version. Kai is great that it cuts so much filler and the dialogue is a little better, but you are missing out on alot of good content by skipping out on the real version. Definitely worth watching at least once...

I suggest watching all the DB and DBZ movies in their chronological order along with the show. There are some inconsistencies with many of the timelines but you'll figure out generally where they belong. And this is where I personally would stop... But there's more...

Super and those movies in the Super timeline, I can't get into them. While they are considered cannon, I cannot pretend they are any better than GT, which is not cannon. They are all crap IMO. Not completely unwatchable, but just not satisfying at all...

But that's for you to decide, and why you should probably watch them last after watching all of the "good" stuff. I really do suggest watching both if you are going to watch any of it. I wouldn't believe the story that "GT is crap and Super is great!", you really should find out for yourself...
