Not that this is being directed at you, but I was talking to a transgender friend of mine the other day, and she brought up how she was having a conversation with her (TG-specialist) doctor about "tranny chasers". He was saying that the initial assumption that people have is that chasers are gay, because if you're a guy and you're going after females that may very likely still have a penis, well there you go.

But he was then saying that those people aren't attracted to others who remind them of members of their same sex: they're attracted to people who they see as members of the opposite sex, just maybe with a bit different equipment.

The whole topic of "it's a trap" and "Bridget made me gay" and whatnot can get really messy really quick, because it tends to bring in a lot of potential discrimination and ridicule and ignorance and whatnot. For anybody who might ever be worried about themselves for finding somebody who is transgender hot, though, it simply comes down to this: if you are a guy, and you are attracted to girls, and you see somebody like Satoh and think "she's hot", and then find out she's really a guy, that doesn't mean anything against you. What you found hot was her female qualities, because you're attracted to females.

Since I play Street Fighter IV, I knew of Kayo Police. When I heard she was six feet tall, I sort of rid it off as an anomaly. (In went in hands with being both a female model and a competitive street fighter player.)

I'm willing to bet people who get so confused are the types that are insecure about their sexuality. Maybe not, I've not done studies or anything of course, but using myself as an anecdotal example, I'm comfortable with my sexuality and have no problem in giving credit to a good looking man or, like in this case, no problem in thinking she is still cute.

In a way, moreso in cases like this I can't understand it. I'm looking at a picture of her in clothes, she looks cute. End of. If I were to ever be in a position where I was actually for really real going to have to the oppurtunity to sleep with her, then perhaps conflicts would arise, but that's not going to happen so why worry now? :lol
