Investing this much effort, time and money in creating a new IP. That's a really weird way of not giving a shit...
He is not investing his own cash, SONY is. Compared to Konami, he got a blank check and publicity stunts. He is just wanking off on getting closer to the movie industry.

Where are the he toad stool pissing flicks? Now if he was making a superhero action game with haha lines from comedy script punch up specialists, then you might have a point. This thing is not hollywood, or if it is it is 1970 Hollywood b fore the MBAs and anti cocaine types took over

Will reviews at least come out a few days or weeks before launch, or will there be a dumb review embargo so people don’t cancel their preorder?

The ending is just going to be J.K Rowling walking out to tell you that you are not a gamer but a GAYmer and have been all your life. Your gender doesn't exist and that the Xbox One has a whole GPU that MS haven't unlocked yet.

Kojima: You have to keep in mind that Solid Snake is not a real human. [As in, within the story universe, Solid Snake is a genetically modified clone.] On the other hand, Big Boss is a real human being with true emotions. He can be more expressive than Solid Snake

I'm with the school of thought Kojima is like Lucas, the few story parts worth anything from his works were either not written by him or heavily edited because he is not quite good at it.

Truth. In fact the real genius behind metal gear solid's story was actually a localizer.

Both of you are just simply dumb if you actually think this. Kojima always acknowledges the power and benefit of collaborations with fellow writers and peers. Some of the greatest artists benefited from collaborations like Alfred Hitchcock and David Fincher who never write their own scripts and yet, made some of the most influential films of their generation.

The way i see it, Kojima fucked up by firing the dude, no doubt about that. However, it's genuinely unfair to take one side of the story even if the other side was not told yet. I'm still gonna take that story with a grain of salt.
