Here's Microsoft's best chance, this (or any horror game by Kojima) being their exclusive would actually make me consider purchasing their system.

Konami will announce its FY2015 Full Year Financial Results on May 8, 2015. I don't think there will be a webcast, but there will be an analysis of business performance, so likely we will get some good stuff on that.

The 43nd Ordinary General Shareholders' Meeting is scheduled for end of June. There appears to be no Q&A connected to earlier meetings so perhaps there will be none this time around either, but as usual directors will be voted for. If I were a shareholder I would vote no for Takuya Kozuki.

There it is anyway. These events plus E3 aren't far away, so hopefully should some more intimate details (not only on Silent Hills, but MGS/Kojima situation) surface soon.

Doubt this game would be cancelled like this if it was a PS4 exclusive. But maybe I'm wrong.

Exclusivity to any platform would've at least left the possibility the game could have become something else, but with this, the dream is well and truly dead
