His handlers are afraid they won’t be able to keep him safe there, but Adam believes he needs a peaceful place in the woodland, to take a shot at military code and alter the course of the Cold War. As it turns out, this area is quite the opposite of a peaceful place...

In the attic Adam finds the hidden diary of Nicolas which, once opened, carries the nightmares of the past right into the present, putting the lives of both Adam and Emma in a great danger. How come the mysteries from Civil War era seem to be connected to what is happening during the Cold War?
Who was Nicolas, the man who lived in that house more than a hundred years ago?

Its hard to support Kickstarters nowadays. I think the System Shock fiasco really killed the crowdfunding momentum.

It does look really good graphically. I watched a bit of the demo you get for backing and it looks solid. Wish'em luck.

Eh, lots of red flags with this one. $50k isn't nearly enough to develop a game of this scope and fidelity. In addition, the devs have apparently never made a game before. Finally, why do you have to pledge in order to get the demo? If anything, the demo should be available freely to convince people to pledge.

I agree. 50K? Are there like 2 people working on this? I mean, there IS a demo, so at least that's something.

The footage on their Kickstarter-page looks good but definitely not photorealistic. I think developers need to use different terms to describe graphical fidelity.

Looks pretty darn good, I am interested. I just might through a few bucks at them and see how this plays out.

This looks like a great candidate for VR.

The Beast Inside is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is also available on PC. Check out the creepy launch trailer for the survival horror game.

In The Beast Inside, play as Adam and Nicolas, pitted against each other, to uncover dark truth and conquer the evil that binds them together. Who will win, and who will perish and be forgotten?

Adam, a CIA cryptanalyst, will soon learn that the Blackstone residence’s horrific past is more chilling than the dangers of the Cold War. A diary he finds holds secrets described by the manor’s former resident, Nicolas, who, in the 19th century, experienced the nightmare himself. As the player, you will play the part of both characters in their respective timelines and try to unravel the somber mystery in the abandoned house in the desolate, North American wilderness. The solution might be the key to peace in the Cold War, but your own survival also depends on it.
