I don't see how anyone can call her awful or talentless. Personally, I find her music kind of generic once you analyze it on its own, but it's obvious she has more talent than Britney Spears, Janet Jackson or any of the Madonna wannabes of the past 20 years or so.

I looooooove all of the people getting bent out of shape over this. Yeah, it's called "Rock Band"... who cares; not everybody gives a damn about old men wailing away on guitars. The more they open the game platform to more types of music (that would logically work), the better off it'll be and the more people that will be able to get enjoyment from the games.
Nobody is forcing you to download the Lady Gaga stuff, so you'll be able to keep your version of the game "pure" with others of us are having fun.

No. Not at all. I mean, I'm not Gaga's biggest fan, but there's a huge difference: Gaga can actually sing and play the piano. Ke$ha is 99,9% auto-tune; listen to her live, and it's atrocious. Gaga live, as has been pointed out numerous times in this thread (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exwZXQoHkwg is a good example), is actually showing she's a musician, not just an auto-tune performer.cabot said:

and we have others comparing her to Ke$ha and making her sound worse than she is.
I think her instrumentals are cool (which she doesn't produce), her lyrics are witty I guess and she knows what she's doing. But mehhhhhhhhhh. Also she better learn to reinvent herself soon (she's no Madonna either by the way. She's more like Robyn or Kylie Minogue).

Nah, I think there's plenty of people in this thread saying they don't think Gaga is a second coming or something, but that she's an enjoyable singer who doesn't make world's greatest songs, but is a pretty impressive live-performer. As far as 'pop music' goes, I'd say she's the most enjoyable of the big musicians right now. But no, she's no pop-messiah.Discotheque said:

I think Paparazzi and Poker Face are pretty dumb songs, but they're still really catchy. Bad Romance though... you can really feel her emotion singing the song and performing the music video. I don't pay attention to all the supposed drama she's stirring up but I do think we have the closest look at her inner mind in that video/song.
