Jekyll - I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet, was an amazing show.

Super interesting show about a con man that lives a double life. Cancelled immediately. Pushing Daises broke my heart. Lone Star getting cancelled just made me angry.

I felt that Star Wars: The Clone Wars didn't get the send off it deserved, particularly after the excellent Season 5 finale. (Not really lesser known, but there are a lot of SW fans who ignored it)

Space: Above & Beyond ended too soon but it at least got some closure. Several of the main characters died, the unit was broken up, and the war with the Chigs restarted.

Boy do I have some great news for you.

Shows I liked that I felt ended too soon and at the top of my head:

Awake
Deadwood
Reaper
Veronica Mars
4400
Wolf Lake
The Cape (I know, but I liked it)
Sarah Connor Chronicles
Angel

Angel definitely. Season 6 would have been so good, but to leave it at that ending? Bullshit!

I also thought United States of Tara was pretty good since Patton Oswalt and Brie Larson were entertaining and Toni completely carried it with her performance. Another awful ending.

Nice to see mentions of Threshold, Odyssey 5, Stargate SGU, Terminator SCCC, and The 4400. The first three in particular were rough for me. Threshold I watched as it aired and I think was my first cancellation (Freakylink I watched as it aired, but I was much more into Threshold). Odyssey 5 I got the dvd's from blockbuster and couldn't believe it was cancelled afterwards. SGU was amazing at the end, despite taking a while to get there, but Sci-Fi wanted any excuse to remove more scifi at the time to fit in more wrestling and ghost bullshit. Terminator I watched last year, so I knew what I was getting into, but ended up really enjoying it, that really should have went on after that damn cliffhanger. The 4400 at least finished the story in two books, though I've never found decent summaries since I dont have the time to read them and just want to know what happened next.

My Life as a Teenage Robot. It wasn't really the best show but I enjoyed it enough to miss it when it got cancelled/ended.

I thought these were both pretty unique. The River was a found footage horror show about a crazy magic river, and Alcatraz was about time-traveling Alcatraz inmates.

I watched them after they were cancelled, so I knew to expect an unsatisfactory ending to both of them, but I was still sad when I reached the end and realized there would be no more episodes.

The show that single handedly made me quit watching TV for almost five years when it got canceled.

Surprised no one mentioned it... although the argument could be made that some people didn't find it good. I LOVED this show.

Five years? Hot damn, has it been that long?

I never heard about Terriers before reading this thread. It never aired in my country. It got cancelled, but is the ending really unsatisfactory ? I want to see more Donald Logue (he was the only thing I liked in the first episode of Gotham).

I personally thought the ending was pretty good. Everything is wrapped up with no lose ends. And the last scene was poetic in way.

I just remembered Dirty Sexy Money. It was heavily retooled after the interesting first season, ruining most of what made it work, and then cancelled when the retooling didn't even help the ratings.

Anything with Summer Glau in it gets cancelled

I think all the best ones have been mentioned but to reiterate

Life
Clone High
Profit

Stargate Universe did not start off very well but it had a lot of potential and they killed it just as it was starting to grow into that potential.

The Almighty Johnsons.
The_Almighty_Johnsons_season_2.jpg

A New Zealand produced/set show about reincarnated Norse gods reincarnated in modern times. Wiki plot:
The show follows a student named Axl Johnson, who on his 21st birthday discovers his family members are reincarnated Norse gods. The problem is, they do not have full control of their powers and it is up to Axl (the reincarnation of Odin) to restore them and ensure the family's survival by finding the reincarnation of Odin's wife, Frigg.

It's a funny show that doesn't censor itself, but also has sad and darker moments.

I absolutely loved it when it aired, but a year has passed since season 3's ending and no news has emerged as far as I'm aware. I guess it really is the end. I miss it. It was so good.

While Googling I found out that it has only just started to air in the US (well, July 11th).

The Event.

I felt that it was starting to really pick up during the later part of the season, then they went and cancelled it :(
The pilot was fantastic but I thought it fell off towards the end. The reason being they knew it was going to be cancelled and rushed to have a finale. The Event would be perfect for Netflix or Amazon.

I really enjoyed Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. I was sad when it was cancelled.

That one still hurts, that show was so fucking amazing :(

Also came to post this one, such an excellent and underrated show.

I think that one is relatively known, all things considered ;_;

I didn't actually hear anything about it until the third season. All I knew about it was that it had Elisha Cuthbert, but I didn't end up watching it until it was cancelled.

It got a lot of shit for being so different to other Stargate's and basically killing Atlantis to fund its huge budget but if you like sci-fi you should definitely watch it. It has amazing visuals, soundtrack, Rush is a fantastic character, and season 2 has some of the best sci-fi episodes since The Next Generation. Finding out what Destiny was created for is also super fascinating. I wish it didn't end. :(

i like you

those last few episodes were absolutely fantastic.

Still miss these shows:
My Own Worst Enemy (show left on a cliffhanger )
New Amsterdam (Doesn't the new show Forever seem familiar? )
Kings (a 2nd season was set up so freaking perfectly )
Ugly Americans (the iOS app doesn't make up for a lack of more episodes)
Reaper (was set up for a 3rd season pretty well )
Breaking In
Whitney (screw all you haters, it was funny)

From Wikipedia:
Lone Star is an American drama television series which originally ran on Fox from September 20, 2010 to September 27, 2010
That's harsh, man.

Boomtown
How To Make It In America
Aw. =(

Boomtown had a great gimmick in its first season, and then if memory serves the network made them drop it in the second season.

As for How To Make It In America, it wasn't great, but it was pretty entertaining and the characters actually had some struggles. I liked watching it, anyways.

Ripper Street was cancelled, then Amazon revived it

still super fucking salty at the fact my people preferred uber shit reality shows insteads of watching an extremely well made Victorian drama like RP. Fucking morons
