Slot is the most elegant, doesnt require headroom like top and doesnt break like tray.
Also slot protects from dirt better than the other two.
Slot is the way to go :)

People always bring up reliability problems for slots, yet I’ve never had one fail on me. Trays, yes. Top loading just feels cheap like I’m loading a disc man.

I've had a ps3 crap out on me and had to pry open the disk drive to get the game out. It was FF13 lol I should have just left it in there.
