What we need is a dance floor. Clear, H.P, CommeDieu, and I would dominate.
You guys have nothing on me. I will break ankles on that floor.

Good morning(?), everyone! Hope your heads are all in one piece today. I feel pretty damn good actually. Heh.

Cheers for all the drinks (Puddles knows the true way), the beer towers (we had it first!), the hover hands (all that cake, Jamesfrom818!), Mexi-Gaf UNITE (Clearacell!), Boss table (NakedSushi, plasticpassion, 'David', timetokill, Evilore), the intestines (those were ALL you, plasticpassion), Girl Gaf represent (NakedSushi & Nintendolllllll!), the wandering around Koreatown (I swear we were going east! Dat soju...), the Crazy Hook Pirate bar whose divider could not separate us (Fidelis!), the bearded french toast and sides of bacon at Fred 62 (and the fire, thanks, Feep. You so crazy. :D), the big gulp balancing (Booshka!), our brave driver Doitlive who also did not murder us (Ermac, finish the damn game!), and the flawless organizational skills of the Iceman. And many, many more, but that's off the top of my alcohol soaked brain. ^_^
. . . did I crawl over a divider? Woops . .

Just read through the thread, great pics. Had a great time meeting everyone. Want to thank doitlive for driving us all over the place, parking was a nightmare there, we got lucky we found a spot after we got the car out of the valet.

Those pancakes at Fred 62 were pretty good, but I shouldn't have had them, already had like 5 pounds of KBBQ in my stomach. Once again thanks for the great time, and special thanks to Iceman for organizing this and keeping us all in line (sorta).

I'm the guy with the Big Gulp on his head btw, I was too cheap to get a Coke from the restaurant so I walked a block to a 7-11 and got one there.

Yeah I was wondering how you guys could still eat after the KBBQ.

We would TEAR IT UP. :D

Hey, whatever it takes to get lady GAF there.

I get in town March 6 and will be there through the 20th. Whatever works for the rest of LA GAF works for me. I know feep is out of town until the 8th though so maybe the 10th? 16th or 17th would also be fine.
If part of that bar crawl included 7 Grand, I'd be there anyway. Pool + tap = Joy. Let's make this happen.

Oh the usual, circumcision, tipping, and PC Master Race.
Sounds about right. ^_^

To be fair, we ALL were crawling over that divider. You were king of it, though.

Yeah I was wondering how you guys could still eat after the KBBQ.
I had scrambled eggs after I got home too. :D

This looks amazing! NY bar meet-up pales in comparison. :(

What were the topics? Besides lying about penis size.
Unless we all go to a Korean restaurant and try to one-up LA GAF. The meet up at The Gaf is still on ( either on the 17th or 18th) . Jasonng said that there might be one the weekend coming up this week at a different venue, so keep checking the NYC GAF thread.

You guys all look like you had a hell good of a time and not to mention, you all look tired from all that food and alcohol. Looks like Evil didn't need a name tag (well because of his avatar), that's how boss he was. Great pictures folks. I'm eagerly looking forward to the fabled NYC GAF meet up; it should be good.

So you guys are still set on the 17th or 18th? Boo. I'll be in NY 12-16th(day only for 16) and I was hoping to join in. *shakes a fist at jason*

i am latin too!! in fact one of the workers at the kbbq place came to change the grill only spoke spanish which i thought it was weird that he came right to our table speaking spanish as if we were all mexican.....eitherway i was glad to translate.

yeah thanks to iceman for everything, you seemed a bit nervous though running around looking for seating and everything thanks man!

i wish i couldve talked to more of you, a good portion of you guys left because of the 10:30 valet time, you guys shouldve moved your cars to the bar valet.

So... Public School 612(for the JENGA!), Library Bar, 7 Grand, Golden Gopher, Casey's, the Edison and Varnish (<--No way this would work with more than 4 people, but it's so good)...?
Unless we have this thing on Sunday-Wednesday there is no way I'm waiting in line for the Edison. Just no way. We would all be sober by the time we got in. As for Varnish, I like it, so if you also want to get a considerably smaller group together another night while I'm in just let me know. ;)

There's one on the 17th or 18th set in stone. However, Jasonng did say there might be one this week too. To plan a meet up early next week is going to be kind of bad for most people although it could happen in theory. I have class on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so maybe either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night would be good. Gotta see what other NYC GAFers think.

No beach side bonfires unfortunately, because it's been cold lately (just not below 30 degrees cold) and I think it's harder to those here than in Cali. If NYC had weather like California, it wouldn't have been a problem at all. I miss the spring/summer, but I definitely don't miss the snow at all. As long as it doesn't snow, it shouldn't hinder any meet ups.

EDIT: Post in the NYC thread to get people's attention, because I don't want to double post.

EDIT#2: I edited my post in the NYC thread and posted your quote in bold so it should get people's attention.

My head is still swimming. Thanks Puddles, Naked Sushi, and H. Protagonist for keeping the Soju flowing. Ha. I hate I missed all the late late night fun, but I probably would've been carried to the car if I kept drinking.

I'm supposed to be at work in a few hours. Uh oh... O.O

Okay yeah the intestines weren't such a good idea. But at least you got to make an H out of them on the grill.

Barely any of my pics turned out well. As you can see the ones I posted are blurry.

Oh, cool. If people feel so inclined to just meet up for drinks and the like earlier in the week for a mini-gaf get together (I know weekdays are tough for some) that would be fun. ^_^ And sorry. I'm not trying to derail or bend the NY meet up to my will or anything. It just seemed like serendipitous timing that I'd be there around that time. I've been bugging jason about it and he's probably annoyed by now... ;P

You are a beast you hear. A BEAST.
Gotta feed the tapeworm!

she barely ate at the KBBQ place, too much drinking and socializing
Yeah. The BBQ place was definitely more liquids than solids. :D

Again, you're not derailing anything. For people who can make it to one of the earlier meet ups because they're in town for an x amount of days, can go to one of those two. The big one is still scheduled for the weekend after the next, so it shouldn't be a problem. Ultimately, it's Jason's call to make as you already know and not mines because he's the one who volunteered to organize it (although I could help coordinate it; I'd figure bobpage would be spear heading the meet up(s)).

Fucking love this pic. The look on the pirate's face and my face = classic. This is going up on Facebook lol
The look of fear...the look of determination..... instant picture classic.

Thank you sir for your excellent skills on the grill. Held our end of the table down. It was cool meeting everyone and I am still kinda shocked at how many showed up. We were like a Mini GAF army. The LA Platoon.

Is there another link to the pic rar?
I just did that last night to get it out there, the bandwidth cap must have gotten exceeded mighty quick. I promise when I get home from work (been here most of the day, posting when I can from my phone) I will upload them on a different avenue.

For future meetups I don't think it has to be as big of a thing as the kbbq everytime. Id love it if we just make it a regular thing where we just meet up at a bar downtown every friday or Saturday or something. Im sure most of us can do that :) the only requirement is that there must be a dance floor!

Last night was one of those rare nights where everything went right. I met many people but as it turns out there was just too many and too little time to give people proper attention. I n any case, as the night went on and the crowd of us started to shrink I felt that we all got the chance to really talk to each other at that point. Good times ;) and im looking forward to tearing it up once again with you guys soon.
