WTF happened to that finger ? Is one of her toes grafted to her hand ? WTF !

🙄 Riiiiggghhht no anger at all.

When you are out of ideas, run to the past
Honestly, no anger. In the same way i think mobile phones should be banned in the work place. We all enjoy a good tug now and then but online porn is bad for people.

The second bit was tongue in cheek. In the 90's there were nudey mags in almost every bush, all over the country. How they got there is any ones guess.

So how many of these videos are there?

According to this not that many

There was a follow up report not long after that first being posted that stated the number was likely well over 1000, with most of it either being mirrors, reuploads or (the majority) unverified or false claims.

So only official partners stay on?

Sounds like a good way to get rid of all the copyrighted material that was on there. If you aren't a porn producer putting your content on the site in partnership with PH your stuff goes poof.

Now everyone will pay for porn again...or use YOUPORN!

While this number is higher it is still pretty low compared to the stuff that is on there IMO. I do not think it justfies a complete WIpe here

But pornhub parent company owns the paid sites too like brazzers reality kings so they can put that on their tube sites stop others and get ad money and pay less commissions to the actors. They also own youporn lol. My friend went to their headquarters and it's like NASA rooms devoted to looking for child porn but I imagine it's still really hard with the sheer number.

I don't watch porn, but what people do with their money is their business so long as it's not in violation of local and international laws (e.g. child porn, sex trafficking, etc). This is only going to push more and more people to use bitcoin which is fine by me, because that means I profit from this madness.

Oh, I agree. I didn't intend my post to be taken as proof the situations where equal, my bad.

Ah fuck. I used to download all the videos I liked until it took up what little HDD space I had left, so started bookmarking them for the past couple years. Hadn't been keeping up with this news and just found most of my favorite videos are gone.

At least they're usually, and hopefully still up elsewhere. Who the heck pays for porn anyway?

Seems very overblown in some respect and I always get suspicious when multiple big companies coordinate like this. I get when the sites refuse takedowns of illegal material or if they sneakily try to avoid taking actions to promote said criminal content, however, in the end that should put them facing the law and not some attempt at private enterprise coordinating to shut them down. If a user uploads something that's illegal, then action should be taken against them, and if Pornhub doesn't remove it, then they should be held liable as well. That's whether it's pornhub, youtube, facebook, twitter, snapchat, etc. There's certainly an interesting debate that can be had about video upload sites and handling of videos being uploaded, but I'm very suspicious of moves like these, as we all should be ones multiple corporate entities coordinate. The attempts at exercising control, using unfortunate victims as a shield, is something we always should be cautious of.

And also.. yeah, who pays for porn (on pornhub)? If you were gonna do that, you'd rather go through a specific production company's site or through the adult video actress' own site, which many of them have. Personally I feel like best things for the industry is individual entertainers having more power and I've personally prefered. That and people at least paying in some way for the copyrighted material they're watching, whether it's ad revenue, money or computing power or anything viable. Also, studios having a good support network to ensure that the adult actresses and actors are pscyhologically doing well.

Great news. That site was used to terrorize women for too long for the enrichment of a tiny few people.

When I was in college a female acquaintance had revenge porn uploaded to one of MindGeek's hub sites. She was too traumatized to ask for it to be taken down. Took her ages to tell her friends, who then requested it be taken down and got no response. Dropped out for the year.

Turns out the ex-BF had actually had his phone stolen and everything on there had been posted. Fortunately for him he'd filed a police report that day or he would have been fucked. I think they eventually got the images removed, but I didn't follow up on it.

Making money off unverified uploading was just a disgusting practice. Absolutely no way to prove consent whatsoever, and no responsibility on the user or the site. The "friendly" image they tried to cultivate made me sick, as did how many people bought into it, as does their BS press release comparing apples to oranges numbers regarding CP reports between them and Facebook.

You think those videos won't be posted online or something?

I'm not that naive, but better for them to be posted on some shitty dark web site that only a small few hardcore losers will ever access and that no one makes money from than on some mainstream corporate popular site with ludicrous amounts of daily views.

The bigger issue is credit card companies telling me what I can spend my money on. They won't stop here.

Credit cards aren't your money. It's their money and they have every right to dictate where you can use their money, it's in the terms of the cards when you sign up even. You don't like it, you use a different card or find another way to pay, but they have no obligation at all to pay for anything they don't want to.

Yeah I'm sure they'll be posted on shitty dark websites such as spankbank, or you know, distributed trough torrents.

So far cash is an option. But for how much longer? Do you want companies dictating what you are allowed to spend your money on?

They aren't, they are doing what they always have and choosing who not to do business with. Same as how many stores don't take certain types of credit cards or have deals with only certain providers. They aren't dictating anything, you can take your money anywhere else you want to go.

You are choosing to use them, they aren't dictating anything, you can take your money elsewhere at any time.

How do they know for sure they’ve hosted underage porn?
Pretty hard to tell if a girl is 17 or 18.
Rape videos can be fantasy and consensual, filmed for, you know, pornographic purposes. How are they verifying these are real rape videos?
