TO answer your question their is a growing influence of the western culture in bollywood and well bollywood in india lets just say its almost a religion. So now the shows and movies are to speak as much English as they can.And seem
im not gonna say western but rather up-to-date.

1. She deserved to get hit back. If a woman slaps the heck out of you on live television, you have my blessing mate.

2. His boy bitched out and left him to get mobbed. Fuck that prick.

3. Also fuck that guy in the pink shirt that kept running in for the cheap shots.

I probably wouldn't have slapped her back, but I'm not going to pass judgment on the guy or get all hot and bothered about it. You smack someone, don't be surprised to get smacked back.

She had it coming, but count on many pages of gaffers suggesting she didn't.

In modern times I really see no problems with it. If a woman can be a credible candidate for President and Vice-President than they can take the physical ramifications of instigating a violent incident without whining behind the "but I'm a woman" excuse.

Or...

English is one of India's official languages, and for the most part, is spoken throughout the whole country, which has something like 20+ different varieties of language.

I can't say I would have slapped her, but if you are going to slap someone you gotta expect to be slapped back.

It's not like she hit him with a bottle or something. It's a fucking slap, and then he wailed on her pretty fucking hard.

You're all a bunch of pussies. Getting slapped by a woman is like, well a "slap in the face" you hit back, you can fracture her fucking cheek or do some serious damage.

She had it coming, though in reality, one shouldn't hit a woman back harder than she hit you ... at least IMO.

A slap is actually pretty symbolic. It's less of a "haha, feel some pain!" and more of a demeaning "you're worthless, b****!"

A punch or bottle over the head is less painful, emotionally speaking.

I disagree. I think a slap is just a slap.. if you wanna get demeaning or really humiliating, then I think spitting in someone's face is the ultimate.

In any case, I just don't believe in hitting women, for any reason. Even if they hit me, you know, I think I'll survive. Meanwhile women are getting beaten and killed everyday in these "modern times" as some idiot put it.

I'm sorry but I believe your reply ended up in the wrong place. It looks like your post was supposed to go here:

What? It looked like a slap, not a punch, of equal force to hers.

Um... so are men and children. What the hell is your point? That women are weak and can't fend for themselves? That is what you're saying, after all, and I think that's rather a archaic attitude.

It was a slap, though I disagree on the force.
He hits harder, but probably just because he's stronger. His reaction is pure instinct, he really couldn't help it. Besides, when has violence ever been about being fair? If you don't want a harder slap back...don't attack someone stronger than you. It's how the world works.

I'm just saying, I try to not work that way involving a girl, especially when she's a lot smaller than me.

What if a male who's obviously weaker than you hits you. Are you as considerate in that example?

There are plenty of weak men and there are plenty of tough women. Gender is irrelivant. It's not like there should be rules for violence under any circumstance.. But if it occurs I don't think it's justification or lack thereof has a single thing to do with what gender they happened to be born as.

The move I used to make was to catch her hand by the wrist, than slap her face with her own hand.

really? even if she is trying to kill you? i was raised not to hit somebody unless it was for self defense. as soon as you lay your hands on somebody in a violent way then that person has the right to do the same to you.

I did some research!

What is Dadagiri?
Bindass ’Dadagiri’- a show where four daring students revisit the horrors of being bullied on the first day of college by surviving three dadas in three rounds and compete against each other for a winning sum of Rs. 50,000 in cash.

In roung one they encounter Vishal -The Beast: An uncouth, foul tempered fellow with an overbearing personality and a strong fist. He enjoys bossing around every one and making mincemeat out of people especially juniors. Into protein shakes & weight training, he has flunked his third year three times. His message to the world goes ‘Maarunga chaar, ginungaa ek’

In round two, the contestants are held up against Shraman - Mindstein‘ who is the college topper and by far the most intelligent guy in college. He is always busy cracking theorems and logic, hates people who cannot answer his questions and feels it to be his duty to enlighten the world.

In round three, along comes Esha -The Goddess: spoilt, nasty, the meanest girl in college. She loves putting people down, is extremely moody & has a very short temper! She particular hates ugly faces!

Now its just that we have to wait and find out whether its all part of a well executed script? The dadagiri slap will surely raise the TRP of the Show.
