If I watch the D.Gray-man anime can I just jump into the manga afterwards or does it change anything important?

Hayate is genuinely funny! Plus I don't think laughing at things easily (if it's something humourous) is a bad thing. I'm the same way.upandaway said:(due to a miscalculation, I'll have to catch up on TLR in the weekend. dangit! oh well, godspeed, Wiseblade)
Hayate the Combat Butler ch37
I love this. It's so ridiulous.
"What happened Ayasaki-kun you suddenly disappeared from school for a month!"
"Well, haha, y'know. My parents sold me, then things happened, and now I'm the butler of the richest family in the world. Ahaha!"
Man I love this. Why is it so easy to make me laugh.

Pointless chapter, but that was some fine eye sparkle.

AKB49 needs less "I'm super awesome, so awesome." Maeda and more of everyone else.
I'm...okay with this. I really like the series so far. I love Arakawa's art, It has good humor, the characters are just interesting enough, and I'm actually learning shit.Ignis Fatuus said:I hear that Silver Spoon is only set to run for 40 chapters. 10 chapters in spring, 10 in summer, 10 in fall, and 10 in winter.
On the one hand I will miss it when it's gone, but on the other this allows for good pacing and development. An early end will also allow us to pick on another series.
I've never used them myself but you could try to set up an account with a referral service. Not sure what they charge though.God's Beard said:I tried to buy Jojo A-Go! I checked out a couple... and it's a lot.Nocebo said:I've never used them myself but you could try to set up an account with a referral service. Not sure what they charge though.

It wouldn't let me sign in with my amazon id, and the japanese one requires a japanese address.Zoe said:What? Since when?
They only restrict games and electronics last I checked.
Negima is just getting boring and shitty, but it's also very firmly in between arcs and the last arc was around 150 chapters long.Ignis Fatuus said:I hear that Silver Spoon is only set to run for 40 chapters. 10 chapters in spring, 10 in summer, 10 in fall, and 10 in winter.

People also keep telling me that it looks like Negima is coming to a close too. And Kimi no Iru Machi as well.
It'll be good to see some of these long series come to an end.
At least now we know Silver Spoon won't be dragged on until it becomes terrible.Ignis Fatuus said:I hear that Silver Spoon is only set to run for 40 chapters. 10 chapters in spring, 10 in summer, 10 in fall, and 10 in winter.

I can only guess if she planned to retire she would have done so prior to starting Silver Spoon, since she was probably already been pregnant by the time it started.survivor said:At least now we know Silver Spoon won't be dragged on until it becomes terrible.
I wonder if she will take the time after to take care of her baby and retire or if she has plans for a new manga.

So its a real group. Learning that fact I had to search youtube for the group. Seriously dreadful stuff, but the manga is good.
It's also very firmly stuck in stupid-ville. Negima lasts through arcs that long because the fact that an entire class-room has to all have air time. So when we are at a cool-down, like right now, we have to check in with the entire class to see what they are doing. I'm studying! I'm a secretary. I'm doing secret stuff. I'm having an identity crisis... Then after we know what they are doing, they split into "teams." Each team then has to have their story of how they arrive at following Negi to his next adventure.Angry Grimace said:Negima is just getting boring and shitty, but it's also very firmly in between arcs and the last arc was around 150 chapters long.

I stopped reading a couple of chapters into the second half. It shall remain that way for the rest of my days!AlphaDragoon said:Just went and wiki'd Usagi Drop.
Hooolllyyy fuck am I glad I never read that. Second half basically ruins the entire series.
Yes they are.Wiseblade said:TLR 11
Are all the ex-suitors going to be joke characters? I was expecting a Ranma scenario.

Countrouble (ch 22)
-How the hell do guys change into girls and not check out the merch?
Well the theme of the manga is based on misunderstandings. So the events are always suspected but this chapter really got you drawn into one side of it forgetting the other half. Maybe it was just me but near the end of the chapter I basically forgot about Asaka and what she was doing. Or I'm just used to manga ending on some heart-warming note and then the next chapter is about what Asaka was doing. But for the ending to get totally screwed over by just showing a forced make-out on Meiko on the opposing roof? That's the kind of stuff that I find entertaining.scy said:Well, Asaka checked it out...
I found the ending was semi-expected considering the basic premise of the chapter (the two of them to switch so Kouta-Asaka can go with Akino and Asaka-Kouta to go with Meiko). That and we can't have any kind of good coming from Sasara's magic!
It's almost entertaining, in a weird way, to see what strange things authors come up with for misunderstandings. Even with whatever strange premise is cooked up.
I like Mirai Nikki though. Yuno made it really stressful to read.El Sloth said:Mirai Nikki: 8

I...I think this is where I stop. I'll get my monthly does of Crazy Bitch and Spineless Unlikable Main Character from Aku no Hana instead.
Yeah, I've been reading Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru (talk about a mouth full) for a while now. Although I'm thinking of letting the chapters pile up for a bit so as not get cockteased by half-finished/cliffhanger tournament fight chapters.upandaway said:I like Mirai Nikki though. In any case now tha you're free, man, read Karate Shoukoushi. You like Holyland right?
