Wow at those Naruto spoilers. What a goddamn travesty this manga has become.
What are you on about? Those spoilers do not have any ridiculous twist, and seem to be in line with how things are. Do you just like being negative every week?

I need some epic facepalm for this one. Let the man rest in peace damnit.
... but we already knew this. Well at least we thought we did, back when Tobi showed he could use Izunagi (or w/e it's called), to which the prerequisite is having Hasirama's DNA or w/e implanted in you with the Sharingan. Finding out Tobi isn't actually Madara, and then Madara having the DNA really doesnt seem that much of a jump.

All those people have greatness in their blood though.
Gai does? How? Kakashi does? he father never had to train for his strength? the rest of those people don't have greatness in their blood either.

smh @ Beelzebub. I think these rankings are related to chapter 122, which was the start of the new training arc after Oga tried to rescue Hilda? Hopefully the rankings go back up once the "funnier" chapters get ranked.

Gintama should have it's own magazine. Each issue should be dipped in gold and sold for 20,000 yen. Kintama FTW.

We are best friends.

So I wanna read Ruroni Kenshin from the point when Kenshin and Co came home to find a policeman there and kenshin went all battousai mode and found out that the government wants him to kill Shishio. What chapter is that? I've watched both OVA movies so I know that basic story, I just wanna read the manga.

Kakashi - his father was a great shinobi, himself was a genius at is young age.

Shikamaru - genius level intellect that also shown to be from his family (his father), same father complimented by another Kage for his intelligence.

Raikage - became the raikage at a decent age, father was the previous raikage.

Orochimaru - genius level intellect as a kid (though we know nothing else of his past)
and skills so great he even made his own country.

Only Bee (great chemistry with A and basically became his brother) and Gai (able to keep up with Kakashi and his is proclaimed rival) could count since we don't know much about their lives but they still have something about them.

Kakashi has sharingan. Pretty sure Shikamaru's shadow jutsus are inherited. Orochimaru is an unknown, but Orochimaru has grafted bloodlines onto himself and has his white snake bloodline.

Gai, Killer B, and Killer A probably have blood line abilities we don't know about. Killer B is also a jin. Wouldn't be surprised if Gai arrives with rin'negan as well.

That's the 9th gate. The eye gate.

He opens his eyes (twice) and we see the Rinnegan.

you guys are ridiculous. SO what you're saying is that Geniuses don't train at all? I think you guys need to reread some Naruto chapters.-
-
- Sasuke trained all the time. Kakashi also trained.

-I doubt Shikamaru got any skills from his dad because it's obvious he's way smarter(his dad couldn't even come up with a tactic during the war and was saved because naruto showed up)

-Killer B was not always a Jinchuuriki, he was Killer A's partner for quite some time before he got the bijuu.

Hardly anything is known about Oro besides that he was a genius, which doesn't mean he never had to train or work hard.

Any other manga that are similar to Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai? I don't even care if it's the same plot and recycled characters cliches.
Good ones were mentioned. You can also check out Kimiiro Focus, Maga Tsuki, Magikano, Ai Kora, Girls Saurus... Those are the more school based ones like Tomodachi emphasizing the comedy over anything else.

There are more including classics like Love Hina. There are always more recommendations.

That son of a bitch!

Exactly. Sasuke is a direct descendant and Naruto an indirect descendant, but giving Minato a Senjuu origin would bring Naruto closer to him. Further cementing that you need to have greatness in your blood to be special. Not saying this will be the case, but I can see how people would think this will happen. It would fit right in with the rest of the recent story.
What is 'special' supposed to mean here?

Oh, Tasogare's all kinds of fun ...

How is Trinity 7? I wasn't aware it was a harem based off just the synopsis.

And speaking of Haganai, there's the + version, which is basically Sena route, though I don't think there's a lot of it released.

Trinity 7 (ch 8)

-Negi's sneezes got nothing on Arata
T7 is funny, has a bunch of likable female characters, and a main character who adds fun to each scene. The fact that the narrative moves forward just ices this one.
The "It is finally time for me to get serious" line after the headmaster talks about playing pranks on the sleeping female students was hilarious. Arata's grimoire is also equally up the task producing a toy ray-gun instead of the proper magic hand gun. The short katana for ninja girl was so fitting as well.
I'm really liking this series simply because it continues to be fun to read.
__A-__
I praise it a lot along with Blood Lad.

Oh, and it's really incredible how Naruto can be taking top spots even during this war, that's some loyalty right there. I see why this specific chapter beat One Piece, that was the chapter where Sasuke got re-revealed (only never to be shown again). God Sasuke is so worthless.
I can't wait to see what shenanigans he does next.

I doubt it's loyalty, it's more like these 10-16 year olds and some older ones like seeing all these cool techniques and Naruto's strength in the large scale battles. It doesn't really matter who the characters are. It's just hype and shit. My little cousins are absolutely loving it.

Yeah, that does make sense. But... word, when I was ten the only technique I gave a fuck about: KAMEHAMEHA BITCH!

Good. It deserved it.

Really, you are in the minority in that opinion. I've enjoyed it and most likely the rating is like that due to a training art. Though I don't get the rating system. Here Naruto and Bleach are panned constantly and they are in the top 5.

I think that's what he meant. It deserves the bad ratings cause of the recent shitty training arcs. Laughing Banana is a bro, he doesn't hate Beelzebub

Bleach wasn't in the top 5 until recently. And Naruto is too big to fall or something.

Yeah, I like Tasogare, but it's not a harem though.

Trinity 7 is fun, it's like trashy harem hijinks + smarmy lead.

Also, caught up on Sankarea (up to ch. 21). Hm.
Power of Love even stops zombie devourings. Good to know.

Ah, true enough; forgot about that kind of pivotal bit. And I'll look into Trinity 7; apparently I'm spending today on catching up on my harem backlog.

Gai is great though, so is Kakashi and Shikamaru and Killer Bee and Killer A and Orochimaru........
It turns out all those guys are chumps except Killer Bee, but he was introduced post skip. Kakashi's dad was a pretty big deal and Kakashi has the fucking Sharingan. Still, he's kind of a chump because he doesn't have the Uchiha bloodline to control it properly. No way he could hang with the big boys. I love Shikamaru, but neither can he. Besides, he's the exact opposite of hard work. He inherited his father's intellect and coasted off that. He just saw the entire lifestyle as a pain in the ass. A guy who would rather lose because he didn't want to be bothered with the responsibility of winning. Naruto and Lee were the ones that exemplified the underdog, but it turns out Naruto a bigger legacy than anyone and Lee got left in the dust. Oh well. I can still read the manga in this new light, but it took a big shift from the first part. I still enjoy the characters when I get to see them, too.

By special, I meant transcendent.

And no, I didn't mean that they never trained. Let's use the sports metaphor: to transcend the sport you need athleticism, but you also need to work hard. There have been many athletes whose physical and god given talents exceed all of their contemporaries, but they don't have the work ethic to surpass everyone. Jordan, Gretzky, Manning, Magic, Kobe, etc all had incredible work ethic in addition to their natural talents which is what put them over the top of everyone else. Jordan isn't the greatest physical specimen ever to take the court, but he was unrivaled during his prime.

That said, post-skip Sasuke doesn't need to train at all. He just pulls moves/summons/techniques out of his ass. :P Meanwhile, we get 20 chapters of Naruto sitting at some waterfall.

I don't agree with the charcters being chumps but whatever.

The Sasuke's ass pulls? what ass pulls? The only sorta asspull there is is Sasuke summoning the hawk in his fight with Danzou(which can be explained).

Killer Bee went from badass (see: Kicking Sasuke's ass) to just another one of Naruto's followers (aka: chump). What's up with that.

Absolutely everything Sasuke has ever done since his training with Kakashi has been an asspull after asspull. Sasuke has so many powers and win streaks that his character has become practically a parody of Mary Sue characters all across fanfiction.

If I got the dates right:

95 - 6th
96 - Not ranked (Colour page)
97 - 4th
98 - Not ranked (Colour page)
99 - 7th
100 - 6th
101 - 3rd
102 - 3rd

Just did a quick check. Assuming the rankings posted today for chapter 122 which means we are about 6-7 chapters behind, during the videogame arc which was around chapters 95-101 the rankings generally fluctuated in the top 10. Some chapters were even in the top 5.

EDIT: god damn it Griffith

Like every move during, and leading up to, his hunt for Danzou? Oh, now I have this thing. Now I can spit fire out my eye! Oh, power up in the middle of the battlefield, aaand now my eye changes... Hey, now I can summon a barrier that protects me AND attacks. Sweet! Watch me summon this hawk out of nowhere even though all I've ever summoned is snakes! Kapow, bitch! Eye change again, you're done!

lol @ Danzou turning out to be just a bunch of eyes duct taped to an arm.

That's on you, but they kinda are in the grand scheme of things. Doesn't mean I love them any less, though! Shikamaru is probably my favorite character along with Jiraiya. Kakashi is up there too!

Haha thanks survivor. Yea I do not hate Beelzebub--in fact I actually like it. It's just that the recent arcs has always been training and training and training and I personally thought that all the so called "comedy" the author injected to his chapters felt really forced and served no purpose other to pad things out.

Hopefully it can get exciting again soon.

As for Naruto, I guess I am just like the only person in the whole wide world that doesn't really see Kishi giving Sasuke any 'preferential treatment' or anything... at least no the extent that most people would suggest.

Well in any event I am glad that one of the end-game bosses, Madara, has shown himself. Kishi generally moves his manga quickly and that's one of the things I enjoy about his work.

CAGE OF EDEN

In what other manga can you see girls in bloomers kicking assess out of extinct animals? And it appears like Akira continues to add to his growing selection of harems.

I hope this manga doesn't end up like Gantz: just chapters and chapters and chapters of grizzly deaths when the plot barely even moves.

how are amaterasu and susanoo asspulls when itachi even did them before? it was obvious sasuke was gonna have them. i'm not saying they aren't stupid, just that weren't made up on the spot, mind you, which is what asspull implies

as far as his eye changing suddenly, that even happened in early naruto when he fought rock lee and then when he fought naruto in the end of part i.
