Look at that fucking asshole, it angers me just to see these shitty characters

Huge ratings bombing. Down to 83.27%. Literally dropped almost 0.40% overnight by only 1k additional reviews. Yesterday was 49k, now 50k.Funny how they call 'fans are review bombing' instead of 'chuds' or 'haters'.
Is this a Hogwarts Legacy situation?
You're wrong. It's 13.8K, oh no, wait sorry I was reading D2 numbers.

Some people here... Cof Cof Men_In_Boxes could think that Sony is choosing Marathon over Destiny because they see more potential... Of course is very stoopid to think that. It's very clear to see that Marathon (Escape from Roblox) is way cheaper to keep around.. In other words:
Sony knows Bungie doesn't have a future, so why commit?
Spend as little as possible until they make the public execution.
So.. It's like.. You are gonna eat shit regardless.... Better to eat the least amount until we get over it

Marathon wishes it could see a 14k CCU peak.

That's 100% it.Sony is choosing Marathon over Destiny because they see more potential...
It already is and always has been, yes. And that is good and how it should be.Damn, Destiny 2 may significantly outperform Marathon in June when it gets the final update and Marathon starts season 2.
Hell, it probably already is considering console players actually play Destiny 2.
They didn't double down on it, they gave the dreaded vote of confidence. With all the updates they have made in the last month, along with the current double XP and guaranteed keys, the game is only tracking ~1500 ahead of predictions made in April. All of that work and effort to retain 5-15K DAU. I can't believe Sony doubled down on this.
That's 100% it.
Marathon can do Destiny.
Destiny can't do Marathon.
Marathon can (and likely will) do everything you suggest here. Sci fi Extraction is all encompassing.
No. Nothing like that.Oh, so according toMen_in_Boxes they(Sony) are going to eat that massive loss, end evelopment on a game, lay off a bunch of people and *reinvest* for a Final Fantasy XIV-style complete overhaul over time on a game that has lost 80%+ of it's playerbase.
Really? You are certain of this?
What are you smoking? I'll take two.
I don't come into this thread often but are you really still banging on about raw veal? That's 100% it.
Marathon can do Destiny.
Destiny can't do Marathon.
Back in late March / early April I was telling all the Marathon bros in the OT that Marathon was a restaurant that only served raw veal. Great for people who like raw veal, but not a particularly great menu if you're a restaurant that wants to make money.
Bungie is now adding burgers and pizza to their menu.
The framework of Marathon/Extraction is just objectively better than the Destiny framework.
You got to admit, Bungie kind of agreed with me there. My own people (the Marathon bros) persecuted me because I told the truth. My therapist made a lot of money listening to my raw veal argument.I don't come into this thread often but are you really still banging on about raw veal?
I would like Foie Gras but I'd prefer if they served them partially or mostly alive. You put me off baby cows for life at launch can we at least change the food stuff? How about Foie Gras?

So there is no more content for Destiny 2. They weren't working on a Destiny 3. So with a company the size of Bungie they made a game that launched with just three maps with a tenth the content of Destiny 1. Whether you like Marathon or not, there is a definite scam here.

Sony should just have all of bungie and a small group from naughty dog wrap up factions 2. Then have naughty dog wash their hands of it whilst bungie support the game.Oh, so according toMen_in_Boxes they(Sony) are going to eat that massive loss, end evelopment on a game, lay off a bunch of people and *reinvest* for a Final Fantasy XIV-style complete overhaul over time on a game that has lost 80%+ of it's playerbase.

The restaurant in question:That's 100% it.
Marathon can do Destiny.

Let it be known I grace the Marathon gods for giving me the opportunity to entertain and enlighten more people who actually play the game itself.
If it's true they rejected an expansion themed around Xivu Arath and doubled down on their Star Wars garbage, I'm even madder at Bungie leadership. Taken King and Witch Queen are two of the most beloved expansions in the Destiny franchise and Xivu Arath would have completed the trilogy of the Hive siblings and their fates. Not to mention Crown of Sorrow was the only new Hive themed raid in Destiny 2 and it got fucking vaulted a year after it came out. King's Fall and Crota's End are the only others and they were from Destiny 1 and over 10 years old. Absolutely moronic behaviour from Bungie as usual.
Sony doing the good 'ol desperate gambler routine.Yikes

Sony doesn't have a fuckin clue, and this is proof. Seeing fanboys continue to suck them off for their record profits after they flushed a whole gen chasing the GAAS dragon is repulsive. They piss this money away then raise prices on their customers for their own mistakes. Even looking at my PS5 Pro makes me disgusted. I think I'm going to put a paper bag over it's head from now on.Sony doing the good 'ol desperate gambler routine.
1. Lost tons of money already
2. Instead of going home calling it quits, actually takes out more money to fund all night gambling
3. Takes his last wad of cash from the ATM and goes to the nearest table putting all of it on a long shot loser bet
Go big or go home. The type of gambler who only goes home when every last dime is spent.
On the other hand, the times I rarely go to the track or Vegas, I'll browse bets with my whopping $150. Once that is done, I'm done. Time to just chill and grab some food. If I had Sony's mentality, I'd be logging into the closest ATM for more money every hour till my account says $0.

I'm sorry, but none of the incomprehensible words in this paragraph would have saved Destiny. I played Destiny 1, 2, and maybe even an expansion and none of this means a damn.
There are pitches that could have worked, I would be willing to go into Destiny 2 or 3, but it has nothing to do with Xanu Artemis or whoever.
Sony was right to pass on this shit. What works is bigger, badder, and more badass. I don't know what this means for Destiny, but I and Sony would know it when we saw it. Open world? New vehicles? New multi modes? Factions? I don't think loot or raids meant much to me, that's what drove the current player base.

Came in at the low end of the range. Peaked at 11.4k. Steam ratings still dropping. Almost down to the 82'sBallpark estimate today should be about 11.4-11.8k. Historically, every Saturday has been lower than Fri by a handful of %.
Boss at Bungie: So, tell me about the numbers on Marathon. You're wrong. It's 13.8K, oh no, wait sorry I was reading D2 numbers.
