Mass effect 1 is my favorite game of all time and like I was expecting, I will stick to the original game. The new screenshots lack character compared to the original, the one on Eden Prime with them removing that red sky is the perfect example.

At least I hope this sells and Mass Effect as a francise remains healthy.

The updated visuals to ME1 look incredible, and that game is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm not looking forward to reliving the nightmare that is ME3's ending, but I got to admit they won me over with the amount of love they obviously put into the visuals.

I’ll get it on sale maybe for the first 2 games. Dont care about Mass Effect 3 at all. game sucked IMO

Edit: pinnacle Station from ME1 is not on this remaster. Dumb.

The revised ending of ME3 is good enough imo.

It’s missing DLC.

DLC:

Bring Down the Sky
Genesis
Zaeed – The Price of Revenge
Kasumi – Stolen Memory
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Firewalker Pack
Overlord
Normandy Crash Site
Arrival
Genesis 2
From Ashes
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut
Leviathan
Omega
Citadel
Equalizer Pack
Aegis Pack
Firepower Pack
Cerberus Weapons and Armor
Arc Projector
ME2 Alternate Appearance Pack 1
ME2 Alternate Appearance Pack 2
ME3 Alternate Appearance Pack 1
Firefight Pack
Groundside Resistance Pack
Recon Operations Pack
Collector's Weapon and Armor
Terminus Weapon and Armor
M-21 Incisor
Blood Dragon Armor
Inferno Armor
Recon Hood
Sentry Interface
Umbra Visor
N7 Warfare Gear
AT-12 Raider
Chakram Launcher
M-55 Argus
M-90 Indra
Reckoner Knight Armor
N7 Collector's Edition Pack

It lacks Pinacle Station of ME1, Bioware lost the data of that little DLC and they couldn't even include it on the PS3 release years ago. That said that DLC was totally forgetable and less than 1h of story content. The only good thing is that it was the only way to see the Earth from the moon.

Here's a pic that shows the new HUD below the original. I think the graphics overhaul is a distinct improvement, looking forward to seeing how it plays!

Ehh what, I thought that the second picture was from when you can in ME1 Kill Wrex Hope they do some additional work on that.

I usually don’t get pumped for remasters, but I’m pretty damn excited for this. Easily my favorite series in my 35+ years of gaming and Mass Effect 2 may be my favorite game of all time. I also never got around to buying and playing the last DLC for ME3 so that will be new to me. ME1 and 3 I also only did one playthrough so I those will feel pretty fresh.

Not really man it's still so nonsensical, poorly written, and contradicts many themes of the story. It's just not as abrupt as the original ending was.
I did play it years after it released so I already had lower standards going into ME3 expecting a sh*tfest. Wasn't as bad at all but yeah ending could be better but I think the controversy is overblown.

So they didn't add any new content??? That's really disappointing to hear. I have played ME1 dozens of times, ME2 around 8-10 times and ME3 around 4 times. Mass Effect was my favorite franchise of the 360/PS3 era. A new coat of painting doesn't really entice me to try this.

A couple of new quests per game, maybe an extra squad mate and a different ending for ME3 would've made me get this day one. As much as I love the Mass Effect franchise I'm going to stand my ground and get this on sale. There is just no new content to justify paying full price. I mean I know these games so well I can quote most of them from start to finish and there is nothing new here.
