Long overdue!

I thought Metal Gear was above 200,000 last time. Was it just under it?

Oh snap finally.
Is software for last week still coming out on Wednesday?

And it seems as though there is some contrast with Famitsu's Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker number (it was over 600k in Famitsu right?).

So tomorrow we're getting another Media-Create software thread? Ahh, 3 straight days of sweet, sweet sales threads :lol

Someone needs to create a gif of Iwata's and Miyamoto's faces slowly popping up all over a map of Japan until it's completely covered.

This is beyond printing money; the DS is damn near a religion.

Wow. Great numbers for a spin-off. Makes me wonder what first week sales of Dragon Quest IX will be like.

Then it would be a different top 10 wouldn't it?

It'd be a Top 10 that I could get behind, is what it would be!

Anyway, I only bring it up because I'm assuming that people where counting the two Pokémon games together when they were wondering if the DS's other 3 Million sellers could hang around the Top 10 long enough for Pokemon to hit 3 Million as well and all be on the chart together. The answer to that question would be "Yes. Yes, they can."

I wonder if the sales for the DS will really increase that much, since after two Dragon Quest spin-offs and a nice variety of other RPGs, is there really that big of a potential fanbase which DOESN'T yet have a DS yet? But then again, I know that I am going to be very off the mark with that statement when the time comes. :)

about time...wii sports and play holding real well. Nintendo dominating Japan like crazy. Although honestly, after looking at that Japanese all time million seller list, I am no longer surprised. Nintendo has ALWAYS dominated Japan it seems.

DQM is big - and it's a spinoff. That's just a small taste of what a properly numbered DQ will do in Japan... frightening.

Wii Sports and Wii Play are well on their way to being million-sellers.

Out of curiousity, how many million-sellers did Gamecube have in Japan?
