So Fire Emblem kicked ass compared to the last two right? About a 50% increase if I recall.

Thanks man.
Everytime I see Japan's gamecube numbers it makes me kinda sad :(

You're lucky that the Xbox's numbers are so small that they're not visible to the naked eye, or you'ld be suicidal right about now.

How much did the GC version sell?

Also glad to see Fire Emblem up there. I hope Berserk's sales pick up.

Somewhere around 420K, if I remember correctly.

I mean, it almost stands to reason that it won't.

No, Symphonia for Gamecube is barely over 300k.

The PS2 version has already outsold and looks like it's on track to 410k before it halts.

I expect Mario Tennis to significantly boost Cube numbers, much in the same way Mario Party 4 and 5 did. Other than that it may be a bleak season for the purple purse.

ToS did around 320k according to the Famitsu numbers, but I'm not sure of its Media Create total (do you have the number CVX?). Either way, the PS2 version will be the better selling version of the two, although the Cube version's American performance will push it over the top sales wise.

Nope, no M-Create number. :(

I really wish I had access to a whole stockpile of Media Create data. I'd seriously pay for it if I could.

Wow, it used to be that GC sales in Japan made up for any US losses vs. the Xbox. Now it's only making up for about half of those losses.

The FE game did ok. How did the past games sold? (GBA)

Past Fire Emblem GBA games from Famitsu counts:

4 - - ファイアーエムブレム 封印の剣 任天堂 GBA 126,267 126,267 2002/03/29 (Fuuin no Tsurugi)
2 - - ファイアーエムブレム 烈火の剣 任天堂 GBA 109,429 109,429 2003/04/25 (Rekka no Ken

Seima no Kouseki > Fuuin no Tsurugi > Rekka no Ken

I bet it's partly due to all the radical new changes made, such as an overworld, multiple class changes per character, and monsters. :)

Yeah, it's probably around 500-550k combined for Japan and America. American sales will keep going too (it'll likely outsell the JP release) and with it being a first party PAL release (with full Nintendo promotion and even a system bundle) you can expect good sales there too. I wouldn't be surprised if the GC version broke a million worldwide honestly.

it will almost definitely do that...

by the end of the year, it should be close or past 300,000 here in the US, then you've got your 300,000 in Japan, then 400,000 for Europe + sales after price drop in US doesn't seem too far-fetched...

LOL, I don't think ToS will sell better in Europe than it did in the US and Japan.
He's saying 400k combined with Europe and American Player's Choice/Budget rerelease. I'm thinking maybe 200k for Europe sounds pretty good really, though with Nintendo pushing it themselves there it might do better.

Nintendo needs to hurry up and release more titles. Their budget titles like Kururin and Made in Wario for Cube seem to be just the thing the system lacks. If they did more of that I think it would increase these numbers. I know that was my reasoning for buying both MiW and Kururin. Dirt cheap.

it's going to come out of you and it's going to taste so good
How many friggen weeks has that Fist of the North Star Pachislot been on there?
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...
Can a Pachislot game actually good enough to warrant that kind of burn?
