07. [PSP] Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP the Best) (Capcom) 18,000 / 398,000

This game alone probably paid for the development of monster hunter 3 on the wii with some change left over.

I'm guessing that number is wrong? Or maybe it's supposed to be Wii Music?
I think I missed an extra digit. It definitely isn't Wii Music. Hold up. The chart included (below) has Wii Fit at 3,109,000. So it's probably 3,123,000.

No its not, it deserves to be lower. The fact that FFCC remains in the Top 10 is validation that the Pollux Engine did not go over well with Japan.
It is sad because it probably will give SE a reason to not take the platform seriously, even if the game is a pos(which i dont think is) :/

YES!!!!

Here is hoping that Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 smashes all the records for the newest tales games.

So an experiment DS on Wii game that is not doing real hot even on the DS is going to convince Square to not try with their bigger game??

Damn you people are so pessimistic and conspiracy theorist,

Can someone explain the huuuuuge discrepancy between the PSP/PS2 versions of Winning Eleven and the PS3 version? Has the PS3 version been out for a while already or is it really just doing that poorly

Not to sound ignorant, but aren't the TotW side games, in essence?
No, they are fanservice games.

The more you know about the tales universe, the more you will like the game.

Based on first week vs. LTD %s for the PSP Tales games (consistently ~60%), it should pass 350K. That's great! :)

wow @ tales
maybe they do need to make a main psp tales
At the very least the PSP should get a game with a far larger budget than Radiant Mythology 1.

By the way, saw these numbers posted on 2ch :

Taiko Wii -336k
Karaoke Joysound - 190k
Pikmin - 135k
Biohazard - 44k
Castlevania Judgment - 3k
Family Ski 2 - 80k
Let's Tap - 22k
DK Jungle Beat - 104k
Shape Boxing - 63k
Bleach - 43k
Happy Dance Collection - 41k
Naruto EX3 - 62k
One Piece Episode 1 - 128k
428 - 66k
Mario Galaxy - 964k
TatsuCap - 43k
PuyoPuyo - 20k
Sonic Unleashed - 18k
Biohazard 0 - 78k
Rune Factory - 28k
Harvest Moon Animal March - 27k

These are supposed to be LTD numbers for a few Wii titles, from a Dengeki/ASCII Research report (leak ?). Of course, there was no source attached to the post and no other info, but by digging up a bit on ASCII sites, I could verify a few of these here (namely, Taiko, Donkey Kong and Pikmin), and assumed that all of these are supposed to be up to the week ending 01/18.
Once again, I could only verify few of these myself , so as usual, unless someone is able to provide a more credible source, I'd suggest the grain of salt treatment.

I bet that if they just released the soundtrack alone it'd sell more.

Seriously, the music is awesome. Shame about the game it got tagged to.
