Will drop pants for Sony.
Monster Hunter Portable 2G still kicking butt. I wonder is star ocean 4 will have legs or drop by next week.

jj984jj

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
SO4!!!! :D

Poor Flight Plan though, they would have been better off putting Sacred Blaze on PSP to establish a userbase there, or maybe even Wii with those sales. I hope both Shining Force Feather and SB have some legs, but their debuts are disappointing, especially SB.

SO4 sold out here. I think this might be the first time a 360 title has sold out in my town. Neither Ace Combat or Tales sold out here (like the did in the big cities).

Street Fighter IV fizzle!
Is that really a surprise though? If you're into fighters then you buy it the first week or else by the time you do get it everyone online will kick your ass.

I want to see how the SO4 bundle sold.

Didn't you say that about tales of versperia?

Fukuoka had no shortages of Vesperia after the launch, whereas the places I went to after the SO4 launch had no copies to be found. I guess the restock didn't come fast enough. I hope that it can ride momentum into hitting 200k next week! Hopefully used games won't show up too fast...

I guess it's safe to say that Taiko Wii hit the 400k, Namco must be happy.

Very nice for Star Ocean. Demon's Souls look like it should be able to hit 100,000 copies without too much of a problem. It has certainly done far better than Ninja Blade.

Unlike Ninja Blade it also isn't a pile of garbage.

Ninja Blade is that bad? Damn. I was looking forward to it.

Star Ocean is fantastic, so these sales are justifiable; this will definitely become the best-selling Xbox/Xbox360 game of all time in Japan.

Nintendo should really get serious about the Wii in Japan.

It's obvious that AC and Wii Music didn't do a lot for the system, and they haven't Published anything else since.

Hmm... SO4 did good by 360 standards, given the sales potential of the franchise though it is clear that majority of fans are not going to buy systems they don't want no matter what the game title is.

I still find 160k overall VERY disappointing given the franchise. It is the biggest franchise Tri-Ace have and I don't think 160k cuts it, imo.

Wii de Asobu: Pikmin and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, I believe.

Let's see how it does next week, apparently it sold out of the first shipment.

Also SF4 360 completely dropping out of the Top 30 is surprising.

Isn't this the biggest launch in j360 history?

I think it's time Nintendo considers working on a revision of the hardware (like DS to DS Lite).

Dunno if more colors will work on a console. Maybe if they release it in black.

I don't think so. But I would have to check my old posts. I know there was a hardware shortage but I don't remember the game selling out.

I don't really remember commenting on it either way.

If I did, I stand corrected.

Game just didn't do it for me. It's like they copied the trivial elements from NG and left out the awesome combat. And the QTEs...ughh

not really, multiplatform titles on the 360 have almost zero legs from week 2 on in japan.

Is it possible that a substantial number of these orders are overseas shipping orders and that the local demand isn't all that high. These may include sites like Play-asia and such, as well as shops all over Asia getting shipments in and putting them in their inventory stock.

Since SFIV is a fighting game, language isn't that big of an issue for importers.

This might help explain the digits better, and why PS3 games have longer legs.
