And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Phantasy Star doing GREAT :D!

Hcoregamer00

The 'H' stands for hentai.
Yes, at this rate Phantasy Star Portable will likely hit 700k when it is all said and done.

Hopefully it means that it gets a USA release.

Phantasy Star will continue to drop pretty hard methinks, the word of mouth isn't very good.

Very... strange. Wario Land must be having some good word of mouth. RTG must be having some GREAT word of mouth, especially considering what the first one did (although to be fair, that was a GBA game released two years after the DS had been released).

Wonder if RTG could hit 1m. It dropped off very little from last week.

EDIT: Actually, RTG didn't drop off at all. It actually sold MORE than the week before. What's going on?

Apparently there was a holiday this week- several game went up from last week. Still amazing legs of course.

Mario Kart DS is a monster. You would thing people would just buy used copies by now but it just keeps chugging along.

Thanks for putting in the formatting, PantherLotus. When the Top 50 comes out, I'll do a formatted version. I took off the []'s, though, to save space for the Title.

Is it a bit too optimistic to hope that it'll do 100k at the end of the day? Considering the last two PS2 games did 60-70k each...

I don't think it can do that well. It will probably top out around the others.

1. I gave an updated Thracia total in last week's thread. It's about 50K higher than the chart shows.
2. The number you're attributing to Magic-box is an actual Famitsu value, so you can take off the Magic-box sourcing on the chart.

I honestly thought Vesperia would sell better than Valkyria Chronicles in Japan.

Fatal Frame :(
Fire Emblem :)
Wario 8)

I'll have to look into RTG. Never heard of it.
Fatal Frame should be a smiley face. Showing better legs than the previous entires and will probably max out around the same amount.

This is the kind of game that nobody would sell. You keep it around to race with your friends.

Aww, ToV having a deep drop. I hope it won't cause Namco's mind about HD RPG with after numbers of low HD RPG game sell.

I fucking hope Wario has legs legs legs.

It does. The retailers aren't price collapsing it, letting it have some more time to build sales. I'm thinking they've definitely bought into this 'evergreen' concept of Nintendo's.

I wonder if they'll do that with some future games that might need a little breathing room to make their way (especially new IPs).

That would be an achievement I think, we were not sure if the Fatal Frame audience (which is small to begin with) had moved over and so it looks as if most have if it tops out or at least comes near the previous installments

Fatal Frame III according to the charts took 5 months to get to 70k, FFIV has the possibility of doing that in probably 3 1/2-4 (or even 3 weeks from now if it has really good weeks) depending on how it sells after it leaves the Top 20 (when we stop getting basic numbers)

My guess? Only with Nintendo published games. Anything else will likely collapse like most games do that start out rather slowly.

That would make me cry, not because I hate the PS3 (far from it), but because you think a shitty game will outsell a good one.

That's like hoping that Doki Doki Majo Shinpan 2 will outsell Castlevania: Order of the Ecclesia.
