Fucking 'A. Mario Kart? Jesus christ. That is unbelivable.

EDIT: Hey Strikers somehow got on the chart. Did it go budget price?

schuelma

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.
Where the hell did Strikers come from? Is it being heavily discounted like WarioWare?

I don't know, but actually I was in and out of electronics stores last week and I saw families picking up Strikers.

Six of the top 12 games are on Wii. o_O

It's amazing how, in a post-holiday week in Japan where sales drastically drop off, Wii Fit still manages to post sales of 90,000 well over a month after its initial release. I wonder if larger than normal Wii shipments or SSBB's release will help Wii Fit maintain its huge legs.

There are decent sales all around. I predict what games are at the top now will be at the top for weeks.

You can do it, Galaxy! Slowly but surely!

The million or so people who bought it over the holidays just discovered it has a UMD drive and they want to see what happens if they put something in it.

You can get it for 2500 yen (about $22) at several shops in my town. But it dropped to that price several weeks ago.

So this is how fucking bad Nintendo marketing is:

The Japanese public don't know the basic difference between Mario Galaxy, Mario Party, and Mario Kart. SO THEY JUST BUY ALL THREE.

:lol

MHP2 is very surprising... WOW
There was either a temporary price drop/sale or it's just a low week of sales overall...I mean, Mario Kart DS is just 5 spots behind!

RE: UC managed to go up the chart since last week?

What I gather from this is that Mario, Wii, and Square-Enix have Japan by the balls.

Nintendo and S-E know what to do...

SMRPG2, please!

And everyone jumped on me a couple of weeks ago when I said that Super Mario Galaxy was going to crawl, not speed to a million...
