Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.
Really really bad Wii 3rd party sales this week.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.

now this is what an MC thread is suppose to look like.
With DBZ and Gundam at the top? WTF? Why is this any better? ASH and DBZ need to switch places!

I think he's talking more about Cheesemeister handling the thread.

Sucks for ASH, not surprised about the lack of Halo, DBZ can still bring in some sales, etc.

Are those DBZ games on the Wii and PS2 identical? Damn, that's quite a difference in sales.

I believe the Wii version, at least in the US, will have online play while PS2 doesn't. I could be wrong though. That's a HUGE difference though.

I dunno. wii has about 3.6 million units and Ps2 has 20 million.
Going by that Wii version actually sold to a greater percentage than the Ps2 one.

"Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor" That's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, right?

Kintaro, you are correct. The Wii version is online (at least the US version).

i'm still not quite sure i get why the wii is slipping.

same as anything. lack of games that siginificantly increases the userbase. Its a slow burn right now and will continue like that until some worthwhile games come out (which is soon)

PSP is hot with the 2000 and Crisis Core, Wii hasn't seen a big first party release in some time (MP8 being the last I guess). Nintendo shouldn't have let a drought happen at this time.

Incredibly Naive
DBZ extremely low numbers for the wii, wonder how that will go from now on with other 3rd party games. And good God why the hell does mario party 8 continue to sell.

Was ASH supposed to do better than that?

Also, will these threads get bigger as Sony dudes get bigger balls, or smaller as Nintendo fans find less to gloat over?

Wait . . . Jikkou Baseball has a MLB license? That's weird . . . why not Japanese league? Or does it have both?

Halo 3 totally gone from the list after being #1 the previous week? Wow. Japanese are really the flash fad people.

A Nintendo published game developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker Studio, over two years in development... yeah, it was. 140,000 copies were ordered by retailers.

grandjedi6 said:
ASH isn't going to have any legs is it :(

"Legs?" Well, depends what you mean. As retailers continue to slash the price on the game, they'll burn through most of the copies clogging up the channel. But no retailer anywhere is going to order any more of this game.

It's the exact same issue I highlighted with IAWW, but no one wanted to listen to me then.

It actually sold through 70% on its first day, so it was pretty hard to get in some places.
