Poor Galaxy.

Hope it hold's up well and at the very least surpasses Sunshine.

Super Mario Galaxy deserves more. :/

Wii games still seem to be hanging around there, though. With a few more releases (Wii Fit namely) and the holiday season, that can only be good.

Supposedly the 360 sales increased by over 500% this week.

So a bunch of Japanese gamers bought the system for Ace Combat, then decided they needed something else to play on the system and bought Idol Master and EDF 3? EDF I can see, but I didn't realize there'd be so much overlap between the Ace Combat and Idol Master fanbases.

Wow, that's even higher than I was expecting for Galaxy. Maybe this does stand half a chance in Japan after all.

All I can really do is pray that Super Mario Galaxy has legs. Pretty disappointing opening to say the least.

Wow at Ace Combat sales. Disappointing for Mario, unless it turns out to have monster legs. Game deserved to do Dragon Quest numbers. Still should easily be the best selling Wii game that doesn't start with "Wii".

So 251k is a bomb, but 77k is a WOW AWESOME!

It's all about expectations I suppose.

Next week will be very telling for Galaxy IMO.

Fork 'em, Sparky!
Hey, 77k for a 360 game, that is pretty sweet. 250k for the 'biggest' Wii release up unto this point is pretty disappointing, unless it crawls forever and racks up NSMB or MP8 or whatever type sales. :)

360 > PS3, it's this week more likely than any other week. :)

Internationally famous mega-franchise, high review scores all around: 251,000 / 3,707,000 = 6.77%
Relatively popular franchise on 360 in Japan, decent reviews: 77,000 / 430,000 = 17.91%

So the beginning of this thread is exactly the same as the end of the last MC thread?

Awesome! Continuity! :D

I think it'll have another chance around Lost Odyssey's release.

Yea those are some sad numbers for mario.. i hope this title has great legs and word of mouth keeps it selling awesome.

i can't wait for the N/A version

I never know what's good or not, but I take it that's disappointing for Mario. Here's hoping he fares better elsewhere.
