Wait what?

Didn't Heavenly Sword already come out in Japan?
I coulda swore I saw it in a past Media Crate thread
So did I. 15,000 opening week.... ouch. Meanwhile, Musou 5 handily quintuples it.

It seems that Japanese PS3 owners aren't going for new IPs. Is this the typical behaviour of the hardcore gamer in Japan?

Now do the MC numbers also include the RE zapper pack? That would explain the big difference.
MC numbers always include games bundle with HW so I'm assuming it's the same for games bundled with useless accessories.

30. [PS3] Hot Shots Golf 5 (Sony)

I was wondering if the hardware surge last week would cause this to reappear on the charts and lo and behold...
Will be interesting to see what kind of fall off there is for PS3 hardware this week.

Edit: Just saw them posted above me. Not too shabby. Let's see what MC says on Thursday

Exactly. I posted a question, wondering if hardware numbers from MC will be as different as software numbers when compared to Famitsu.
The way it was worded made it sound like you thought HW numbers were already available.
