Wii Fit looks like it will meet or exceed Nintendo's expectations. SMG starting to really show the legs it going to have for a very long time to come.....

Well I watched the video for "Haruhi Suzumiya's Promise" and I still don't know what the game is.

I called it. I'm hoping it does.

Woah...strange seeing Wario Ware up there considering it was a launch game. That makes 3 Wii launch games on the charts.

As we saw in the prelim thread, these numbers are pretty different from Famitsu's across the board.

Wario Ware up to 21.. amazing. The legs on Nintendo titles are always something else.

Media Create's picking up on the title, but not Famitsu. Anywho Wario Ware sells for 2000-3000 Yen only nowadays in the bargain bins, so it's not surprising to see many users pick it up.

21/30 and 7 of the top 10. Nintendo had a hell of a year. I anticipate the PS3 improving to the point where Nintendo only has say 18/30 by december 08.

What's so great about Mario Party DS, other then that it's a Mario game? Can't believe it's still selling so strongly.

It's the best Mario Party game since the first couple, and the whole game is 4-player downloadable single cart play. If you hate Mario Party conceptually, it won't change your mind, but if you ever liked ANY Mario Party, you'll like this one... plus it's portable.

almost 8 weeks after launch, I think it's a MAJOR success for Capcom to have RE:UC in the top 30.

Agreed. I don't think RE4 on PS2 lasted this long on the charts either.

I'm really not sure what made that so engrossing, but I watched the whole thing. Pretty surprising to see that Sony's most dominant years in Japan were actually with the PS1, not the PS2.

Yeah PS1 has like double the number of million sellers, and tons of new IPs caught hold and got sequels on the system...even western stuff like Crash and Tomb Raider

Interesting numbers.

Famitsu reported COD4 360>COD4 PS3. Media Create have it the other way around. :lol

Either way, nice stuff!!!

Its a shame though because the game could've done better if Capcom had restocked. Viinks reports always made me happy to hear that RE:UC was sold out but when I saw the MC charts..its obvious the game was sold out for all the wrong reasons..

I cannot wait for wiifit to hit in the states. Its going to be the biggest thing in gaming since Wiisports.

I also cant wait to see what game devs got cooking for the thing, and uses to be seen.

Skateboarding could be just SICK with this thing, as could first person shooters.

Wiifit is a beast. DQ also broke a million. Awesome.

Also, number 7 should probably be "The Promise of Suzumiya Haruhi/Haruhi Suzumiya" since that's the standard titling convention for the franchise.

What's RE:UC's known LTD numbers anyway?

Its probably hit 200k by now but the last confirmed LTD numbers we knew were 160k but if it did 10k every from then its definitely hit the 200k mark. It most likely did 20k in these charts.

Its also done 120k in its first month in America and will probably do even better in its second month (Christmas and all..)

In Europe..well..it bombed.

So it's safe to say RE:UC did over 500k world wide. With some luck could be 500k for Japan and America only and around 600k World Wide.

Is this worth going through the Nico Video sign up process to see?

(And I know there's a tutorial, you don't have to post that.)
It's just a bunch of pie charts for each year set to music from MGS. Perhaps not worth signing up on its own, but you're probably going to want to register at the site because apparently, it's the Japanese Youtube.

5 mill for NSMB yet? It didn't have much to go last week.

5 million next week by Famitsu numbers. You might be confused because these are last week's Media Create numbers; the equivalent Famitsu numbers were in the thread marked "Japanese Sales 12/24 - 12/30".

As I said for the Famitsu numbers, go go Star Ocean, Haruhi, and Dragon Quest IV, for varying reasons between the three of them. :) Too bad for Tales of Innocence by either tracker's numbers, though.
