Oh God damn it!! Things just keep getting worse for Gamecube in Japan. I hope Nintendo can still eek out a somewhat successful holiday season, but I'm not sure they have the software to pull it off.

That's amazing numbers if true. I would've guessed something like 0.5-1.0 M at most. Had no idea the series (or at least AC4) was THAT popular.

I wouldn't doubt it... Namco games are stupidly popular over the region. It's actually the top market for Tekken, Time Crisis, Smash Court and Moto GP afaik.
