Brawl will destroy Melee's LTD and then some. DMC4 is still hanging on.

And it looks like Konami might have a game that'll sell well on the DS.

Quite a disparity with Famitsu on those Tokimemo numbers.
EDIT: Looking at the numbers of the 1st game, I think this one already completely beat its LTD (with MC numbers).

Great numbers for Brawl, as expected. Impressive that Kart DS is still charting, which bodes well for its upcoming console younger brother.

Worldwide, it won't happen. That title belongs to Wii Sports at over 17 million (bundled games DO count, people don't say we shouldn't consider Super Mario Bros. the best selling NES game just because most of it's 40+ million copies were bundled with the NES system). SSBB would have to have the best attach ratio ever (more than 1 per system) to get the title. Not to mention that Wii Play is at ~10 million.

Welllll, 2G has this install procedure so you can install a big chunk of data to memory card and cut down disc access / load times. Aside from that, it's mostly a plus alpha type affair, I think.

Is not that surprising though...
Galaxy already outsold Sunshine in Japan too..
So, Brawl outselling Melee was expected..


And worldwide, the story is the same..
-Galaxy is at 3 months, what Sunshine did in 60 months (5.5 million)
-Twilight Princess was at 12 months, what Wind Waker did in 45 months (4.5 million)*
-Prime 3 is at 4 months, what Prime 2 did in 35 months (1.2 million)

*Wii Twilight/version number only, combined with the GCN version; Twilight is at around 6 million copies.

Thanks for letting me know that Super Mario Bros., Tetris, Super Mario World, Metroid Prime, Altered Beast, Sonic The Hedgehog (all of which were bundled games at one point or another) are not real games. :lol
