Ah-ha! A title finally did it, at least for 1 week. Good 2nd week for EO2 as well, too bad it's gonna be forever until it gets to the states =(

Not too bad a start for Soma Bringer. Hopefully it can do decently in the next two weeks. At the very least it looks like it's doing better than either of the Baten Kaitos games.

And people said Gundam Musou PS2 sales would destroy the PS3/X360 version sales, lolz. People are not 'that' poor in Japan. The main fans who wanted GM bought a PS3 or X360 for it.

Soma Bringer is faaaar too low for the best rpg since Xenogears. Need a million sales.

Etrian II closing in on 100k is great news. Such an unlikely success in this day and age.

Already passed it by Famitsu's reckoning. It's really a great success for Atlus (and gamers everywhere).

Family Ski has remained strong, I guess next logical step is make it the "[domestic animal]z" of Japan. Fucking Namco.

Looks like I'll be following Famitsu's numbers from now on.

iirc, they listed EO2 as 108k, which makes it more than a 10k difference.

Soma Bringer's that awesome looking (in motion) ARPG for the DS, right? I was hoping it would sell a little more, but I guess its launch isn't too bad for a new IP. Is it actually good, JGAF? Could it grow legs through the power of love and word-of-mouth?

It's cool to see a 360 game in the Top 10 every week or so. I don't think the Xbox ever got that.

The Xbox had at least one game in the Top 10 by Famitsu for 12 separate weeks. The 360 has also done it 12 times by Famitsu through mid-February. The Xbox trumps the 360 with the most titles in the Top 10 at once, though. The 360 has only had loner entries. The Xbox had four titles in the Top 10 when it launched.

why is it not possible to use balance board in SSBB because then we could say blame smash bros. and that meme wouldn't be banned and people could troll the threads with that.

Cool, cool. Niche DS RPGs performing.

02./01. [WII] Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo) - 67,000 / 1,358,000
03./03. [WII] Wii Fit (Nintendo) - 64,000 / 1,610,000
Considering how Wii Fit has such a lifetime lead and yet still isn't too far behind for weekly sales, I guess it's it's destined to be the system's best non-Wii Sports, non-Wii Play seller. (Or at least in Japan.) Not too happy to admit that...

This is still a big number. The PS2 version will more or less double the total install base for Gundam Musou in Japan. Seeing viable PS2 sales may set a precedent down the line.

wait can i never have a new avatar and will i always be a junior member?

edit: wasn't my avatar 90x150?

Poor guy.

Also, I'm in complete agreement with Jiggy. I had some hope that SSBB would go on to outsell Wii Fit, at least in the short-run, but that seems to be hopeless. Wii Fit is a beast.

The 'H' stands for hentai.

I love Soma Bringer and Xenogears, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.

No end in sight for Idolm@ster macrotransactions, it seems...

If that Asian version goes through (and has an english option) and is playable on USA X360's then it just begun.

Was it over the space limit though? I think 150kB is the limit.

And unless you do something really bad or if you were in the way of an admin in a bad mood, you'll become a member eventually. Oh, and you'll probably never get a new avatar unless you do something awesome. Tag fishing won't count. You have my condolences.

Oh hey! I just noticed that Etrain Odyssey II is up to nearly 100k. That's great. Now, if they'd only release it in AUS.

Great continued sales for SSBB, Wii Fit, and Etrian Oddysey 2. Hopefully the former two can surpass two million each there.

1UP has a preview of the game up and it actually looks good.

Oh god I might actually buy a Wii Fit board for this :'(
