I'm guessing Hunters isn't part of the "touch! generations" :p I guess it's nice seeing it chart at least.

LOL, that's a great second week for NSMB ... it's a bigger second week than any other DS game I believe.

Actually, if I remember correctly the sales of NSMB this week reflects what most people believed it was going to do its opening week :lol

New Super Mario Bros. is on the verge of outselling Mario Kart DS ... which would be the first time a Mario platformer has outsold a Mario Kart game in Japan on the same platform I believe.

These numbers are basically the ones Neo posted in the other thread. (which at that time were unconfirmed) so whoever leaked those had them right.

So going by those numbers.. DS+DSL Hardware took a big hit. ~140K this week.

People are saying MPH sales are bad?

:lol is 33k more than Prime 1 and 2 sold combined? haha

Compared to all other ds software that sold an ass load of (brain training, smb, animal crossing etc), that is pretty bad. I don't even see it having legs like tetris has right now.

I'll be Monorojo this week:

First off, I'm sure those games for PSP will cause a nice blip in sales. And remember this isn't a week-long war, its a five year struggle, PSP has legs, DS looks to be riding a gaming-wheelchair very soon. Basically, Nintendo is screwed. The high sales of games/system will eventually cause a shortage that will cause PSP sales to surpass the DS three-fold what the DS is surpassing the PSP now. Then they'll go third party and Pokemon will become a PSP exclusive. Color Phantom Hourglass cancelled, too bad. I love Nintendo though.

So the unconfirmed numbers from before were right. Guess it's safe to assume the hardware numbers are accurate too. Very nice 10 day total for NSMB.

QFT. It's horribly annoying. If Monorojo got banned for being monorojo why isn't anyone else being banned for being monorojo?

Sometimes I wonder if Monorojo ever reads these threads. :lol

As I expected, NSMB fell sharply. It really proves that there are very few traditional DS gamers; around 1.5 overall, according to the most scientific estimates.

10 PSP DQ & FF in Itadaki Street Portable - 15640 / 63982
Very impressive. SE is no doubt pleased, and I'm positive this will lead to future support. A FFXIII port perhaps? Highly likely.

I'll say that's a big drop for NSMB.

Btw, that's decent for MPH compared with other Primes.

Other than that, the usual suspects.

Honestly, the Monorojo act is getting old.

He was banned. If you're imitating him, why shouldn't you be banned, too?

If the DS was any lesser system, MPH would have ignored completely- and rightly so.

Very impressive; I don't see why people are hating on this game. It's probably the best selling FPS of 2006 in Japan already.:lol

Just noticed Children Of Mana is still on the top 30.
Does that mean it's outsold Sword Of Mana yet?

Just so people can put MPH's figure into perspective.

GCN Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes - 16,105 (MC May 23 - 29 2005)

E&N says Metroid Prime sold 43K the first week back in 2003 but Game-Science doesn't go that far back.

I wonder what percentage of people who bought MPH in japan also own an Xbox 360.
