A week of bombas. :-(

#2 Xenosaga Ep3 - 123,847
#4 Tekken DR - 49,426
#6 Rockman ZX - 33,652
#18 Brave Story PSP - 8,238

So I guess time to ask that question .... how many games have sold 134,000+ copies in their 6th week (or whatever week this is for NSMB)?

Very good numbers for Rockman ZX. Surprisingly good. Very nice.

Guys you've got to bear in mind that Rockman series never sold extremely well in Japan, with the exception of Rockman EXE series of course.

More DS domination. Nothing new here.

It's safe to assume the hardware numbers neo posted are legit as well so you might as well post those to. Neo has been posting those unconfirmed numbers for over a month now and they've been legit every time.

*edit* Beaten.

Suprisingly high numbers for Tekken and Xenosaga.

Considering it's probably the PSP's highest profile game in the past half year or so... not so much.

I'm very disappointed in Brave's Story bombing as I heard it's a pretty good game and may not get NA release now.

It sold more than the PS2 and DS versions combined though. :lol

Tekken Dark Resurrection did very well considering it's just a port of Tekken 5 with some extras. Hopefully this means Namco will give the PSP an original Tekken game.

Why? It's the same game than Tekken 5.
Its much improved actually, and Tekken 5 didn't exactly set Japan alight either.

And its not just that, its, well, you know. EDU.

PS: Number 10 is DBZ for PS2, not DS, right?

Yeah, proves the whole third party arguement Mono had about DS games :)

...or are the PS2/DS versions just bad?

Tekken did good for a PSP game ... I mean I can't even remember the last time a PSP game was in the top 5, so at least that's something.

Tekken is doing great relative to other PSP software.

When was the last time a PSP title was in the top five?

Japan just officially failed at life.

Xenosaga and Brain Training both outsold...

1.) The best portable fighting game ever made
2.) Portable Megaman awesome

There's now no disputing their horribleness. They failed at life definitively. Indefensible.

I think each chart I'll label how many third party games each company has in the top 10.

Nintendo: 1
Sony: 4

That's the lowest weekly total for Brain Training 2 since its launch and the lowest total for Brain Training in almost 5 months. Is the craze over?

Of course, not. :p

The DS game is a point and click adventure, try harder next time.

Why don't you compare the Megaman sales on PSP compared to the DS one , better?
Anyways your agenda is getting so old, you said you would stop with this....

I seriously doubt Tekken or Megaman ZX will outsell Brain Training in the US either. BT has to be at around 400,000 already here and probably will sell for a long while here also.

On the plus side Megaman ZX sold far better than the PSP Megaman titles, so that should ensure future Megaman goodness for the DS.

Yeah, arguement has never been about first party games. Those have always sold well on Nintendo consoles (except Gamecube w/ the exception of Mario Party)

It is ridiculous to me to compare Sony's historical strength to Nintendo's historical weakness and call it a fair comparison. Monorojo did it all the time. I prefer to compare games to games myself.

Because you know.. no one ever buys a nintendo console for 1st party.

So you only pick and choose arguments that would satisfy your agenda?

Gotcha.

If it was Sony's first party sales doing well you'd definitely talk about those, right?

shit, I'll take anything as long as it ensures more megaman... but that doesn't forgive their sins. 38,000 is ****ing horrible, especially in light of what sold BETTER, and rejecting technologically competent megaman is a unforgiveable sin.

US can **** themselves too if they buy Xenosaga over Tekken Portable!

Japanese gamers suck.

Why? Tekken sucks. Not as much as Xenosaga, though. :D

Put on a new Virtua Fighter or a new 2D Street Fighter made for the PSP and see how they do.
