Things are back to normal this week it seems.
Go Phoenix Wright!

Hmm, overall sales seem to be down though.

jj984jj

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
Go AA4!

Edit: It's not Phoenix Wright
but it might as well be.

Fair-weather, with pride!
Alright, 250k is great in the first week. March of the minis not bad at 100k for a week. Now we wait for hardware. :lol

Edit: NO PS3 or 360 games? Come on!

Well I can sleep easy tonight knowing the universe is now back in proper alignment.

As for the top 10 I Phoenix Wright deserves the top spot. Hopefully it comes stateside soon (along with Layton).

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.

Wii sports and Wii play are up from last week. Probably 70000+ week for this week for the Wii?

I'd say between 60 and 70K. Next week should be really fun..SPM

Layton on track for 500K, totally awesome.

Edit: Typo

It's pretty crazy, considering it's Level5's first self published title and their first DS game, and it's already outsold all of their non DQ games. Amazing.

When are we getting a US version? I'm really dying for games like these

Nice first week for GS4 and MvDK2.

So what do you think, 500k for Prof. Layton by the end of Golden Week, or think it won't make it to the end of May?

I'm not sure who would even handle the publishing. NOA would be the best choice, but Atlus might want to try and localize it.

but its one hell of an effort that game has such style, they really deserve it

was this not a trilogy?

It's going to be a trilogy, yes. Two other games are already in planning stages. L5 had to be pretty confident in Layton's success to do that.

NOA would be the best choice because NOA actually markets their games, something Atlus doesn't do so well. Also, NOA has a pretty good localization team, but they're probably preoccupied with FE:GoD right now. At least, I hope so.

And everything's back to normal.

Amazing legs for Layton, it just keeps going. Well done Level 5 - now announce an English release!

PS3 will probably drop below 10000 this week. Quick Sony go to next gen Plan B and raise the price.

Just looking at that chart, I had a really bad feeling for the PS3 wash over me (an intuitive feeling). I think it'll drop again this week, but will stay above 10k.

To me the lack of Wii titles in the top 30 is more proof that third parties were totally caught off guard with Wii's early success.

When does the this drought for decent third party releases end again? I saw someone list release dates, but I didn't know where to look.

Atlus markets there games too, they just don't have the power like Nintendo or the other major publishers do
