GO GO DQS!

Zelda is doing some heavy numbers, 1 million by the end of the summer for sure.

I think DQS's low numbers are more attributed to the game being pretty much sold out. We'll see what Vinnk says and how things look next week.

Anything big coming out for a non-Nintendo system next week? I'm really hoping for another all Nintendo top 10 soon.

Hot Shots Golf 5.

Basically, if it does absolutely nothing for PS3 sales (and I mean doesn't get it to 30k-40k levels), the system is never coming back, ever, and the Playstation's brand name in Japan will be effectively meaningless.

ZELDA!! Hope it makes it to 1 million. :D
It will cruise past a million easily. It's finding a steady pace and it will retain that pace until year-end/DQ, I think. The ads are really successful and word-of-mouth will carry this game similarly to NSMB, but on a slightly lower scale. I'm thinking even 2 million may be a possibility.

That would be very good news for the future of the franchise.

Well this is one of the most boring MC weeks for software in a long time. Hopefully hardware will be more exciting.

I could have sworn NSMB made it past 5 million already. Maybe I'm confusing it with Pokaymans.

Sorry, it's late.

Yeah MC is dead until the next big 360 game comes out and then we can start the whole crossing of the stream deal between it and the PS3.

Until then.......it's like reading Nintendo's financial reports.

How so? Seems pretty interesting to me.

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is seeing fantastic sales and is all but guaranteed a platinum+ slot, may become the best selling Zelda ever, which is great. And Dragon Quest Swords has a very good second week despite sell outs.

But does this mean DQS is actually a great game? I sure as hell hope so, because I'm buying it even if it plays like shit.

What's the Wii install base compared to the Wii? The baseball game relatively did better, ratio-wise, on the Wii than what I expected.

Wii compared to Wii is very close to 1:1.
