Gahiggidy

My aunt & uncle run a Mom & Pop store, "The Gamecube Hut", and sold 80k WiiU within minutes of opening.
hello.

Wii software has more titles than all of the Sony platforms combined?

And didn't Famitsu point to something like 20k for Minna No Golf this week? Why the huge gap?

I think Famitsu had 40000 or so for MnG5, either way MC is higher which seems odd from what I usually see when comparing the numbers. Good to see though.

Zelda's kicking ass.
Yes sir! I really hope it ends up at well over a million.

I would kill for a console Zelda that was like a link to the past, or a new 2-d Mario game. I really like these old style games kicking ass all over the place, and I hope it inspires Nintendo to do console versions of them.

How the situation has turned.

What we now have here is:

+ A very successful second week for Minna no Golf 5. Showing calves and doing above and beyond the call of duty for a PS3 software title. The similarity it shares with Famitsu numbers is it kept it's plcae in the Top 3 for a second week in a row. A milestone, landmark etc.

+ A worse, yet stilld ecent second week for It's a Wonderful World. Still with an LTD over 110k, still going to reach 200k LTD, still a success *in my eyes*.

+ A great second week for Mario Party 8 with a great ending LTD.

+ New Super Mario Bros. back into the Top 10

Zelda will be over a million very soon. I can't wait to play it. I also hope It's a Wonderful World keeps steady sales because I really want the game to get localized.

Does 100K+ make It's a wonderful World a hit?
What was SE expecting to sell?

Have you even looked in last weeks thread? EDIT: never mind

What turned again?

If you look at the last MC thread, we got into a little tussle; The numbers we argued over [Famistu] pitted Minna at 43k and IAWW at 40k for the week. And MP8 at 150k. The discussion occured because I believed second week sales for Minna no Golf was good as well as good for IAWW.

Now we come into MC and see how MP8 has lower second week sales than expected, and Hot Shots Golf much higher, and IAWW lowwer.

It's a very interesting turn of events. And I'd like to see what people have to sayabout the success and legs of MP8, Minna no Golf and IAWW now that we have different numbers.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
What a slow week, next week should be a bit more interesting. Go Zelda!
