Tales of Phantasia PSP = 66263 first week. BOOOO!

Next week will not be in the top ten.

FFIII killed mario sales, and the game shortage is hurting both. Unlucky.

18 games on top 30 for the DS. Nice.

Zero dropoff for FF, but NSMB keeps dropping every week. It'll be interesting to see which 1 out of BA2 and NSMB outsells Animal Crossing first. And when was the last time BA1 dropped below 20k?

Well, I suppose in the wake of a too-hasty Wii3 thread, Sales-Age will semi-suffice.

No worries. Pokemon will pick Mario back up (and FFIII if it's being well-stocked), along with pretty much everything else on the system.

Slow week eh?

The DS-Card shortages is most likely causing the downfall of all DS titles, especially Mario.

60k launch number must be some kind of record for PSP.
No it's not. But it is the second PSP title to be #1 ever... which tells you it's a really slow week.

Holy shit @ Rhythm Tengoku
Gadget legs a-go-go.

your insider info on FFIII getting to 600k with sales from last week, and on it's way to 800k with the current week's sales is on track.

and wow, at the legs of Rhythm, AC:WW, Cooking Navi, etc. etc.

congrats on 3 million mario.

I knew one day I'd click on one of these threads and see the PSP in 1st place. It's over for the DS now, boys and girls. PSP is on a hot-buttered roll. Turn in your Nintendo jackets and...*sigh*. What happened, DS black hole or something? :lol Probably still sold a ton of hardware too. PEACE.

Isn't this the lowest number a main Tales game has done it's first week out in Japan? Namco can't be too happy.
Namco: Don't do it Bandai, they won't buy ToP again!
Bandai: Wanna bet?

*ToP PSP sells over 50K*

Bandai: BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!

S-E only shipped only 50K every week?
That sucks!

If that's true, they really screwed themselves. They had plenty of time to get the maximum amount of sales out of this game before the Pokemon bomb hits, but it seems like they're too lazy. This game should have been around 700,000 LTD by now.

Nintendo hasn't sold this much software since they were dominating the Blockbuster charts with Golden Eye and Mario 64.

So, the question of the ages: Can Animal Crossing, Brain Training 2, and New Super Mario Bros. hang on to their spots long enough for Pokemon D/P to make it four three-million sellers in the top ten simultaneously?

No, because Pokemon Diamond and Pearl individually will not make it to three million each within the next few months. Worry about this on Famitsu's chart.
