Why did S-E re-release three DQ at the same time?

Yeah, I know, for the same reason Nintendo re-released half a dozen Wii games at the same time... But that reason just escapes me.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
How much did Star Ocean 4 International sell overall?

The Drill is a slightly altered version of Media Create so they don't get in trouble, so those will be fairly close to the final numbers.

How different is this from the other Pokemon Rangers? In terms of gameplay not sales.

Have a question when was last time Bandai Namco had a new IP that sell as much as God Eater ? It should get to 600k not bad for new IP at all.

God Eater seems to have pretty good legs, been around 30k for a few weeks now?

But this week, another Monster Hunter type game comes out. (Koei's Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid 2). So, will it hang on? Or be dethroned?

I'm guessing the former, it seems to have gotten good reviews. But then again, the first Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid did pretty well...but then again, the second Phantasy Star Portable didn't do as well as the first, I think.

Bamco should learn that MH was good because it didn't have any crappy animu stuff in it.

I'm not sure if I'm reading Comgnet's points ranking right, but am I correct in saying that as of the day before release yesterday, Zettai Hero isn't even in the top20 preorders tracked? :lol

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

GE still sold better than any of their homeconsole games this gen.

Wow, it's tracking really badly as far as pre-orders go. Nippon Ichi games are hardly the sort to attract much walk in sales either. Nippon Ichi might be the next to go after Cing...

I think they can stand rough times better than Cing, but I believe they should focus a little more and not make more mistakes (Phantom Brave on Wii, Last Rebellion...).

I don't think a Zettai bad performance would be the end for them (it would be so if Disgaea 4 fails), but I think they need something succesful aside of Disgaea, they can't put all the eggs on that.

It´s a company that has given me many satisfactions the last years, hope they manage to stay afloat.

NSMB Wii is a beast. Hopefully this means more side scrolling Mario on consoles. Now how about an old school Zelda Nintendo?

:D

NEW Yoshi's Island Wii first please :D

Famitsu numbers for biggest new releases

01. / 00. [NDS] Pokemon Ranger: Tracks of Light (Pokemon Co.) - 166,100 (41%)
02. / 00. [PSP] .hack//Link (Namco Bandai) - 68,700 (75%)
04. / 00. [PS3] Nobunaga's Ambition: Tendou (Koei) - 40,300 (85%)
05. / 00. [NDS] Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (Ultimate Hits) (Square Enix) - 39,700 (47%)
12. / 00. [NDS] Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku (Namco Bandai) - 18,900 (62%)
13. / 00. [PSP] Armored Core: Last Raven Portable (From Software) - 16,400 (54%)

400k Pokemon Ranger shipped
~85k DQIX budget re-release shipped (must be biggest ever?)

Pretty nice Nobunaga PS3 numbers, its pretty much on the ceiling for what this franchise did on PS2 (40k->47k->21k->28k->39k).

Only if they are going to put some effort in graphics. I don't want one of the most gorgeous 2D games created transformed in another exercise of technical laziness.

.hack numbers were here

Looking at that tells me Link didn't do that bad. It's a spinoff .hack IIRC, so if it some how manages to break 100k, it'll have done well.

Zettai Hero is by the Disgaea team. The following are Famitsu LTDs for games by the Disgaea team:

Disgaea - 124,316
Phantom Brave - 148,295
Phantom Kingdom - 116,672
Disgaea 2 - 150,428
Soul Cradle - 80,557
Disgaea 3 - 93,227

The lowest first week belongs to Disgaea at 46k, followed by Soul Cradle at 48k. If Zettai Hero does significantly less, then it will be the lowest selling Disgaea Team game since N1 became successful with Disgaea.

This had to be quoted! Do it Nintendo! A "Yoshis Galaxy" (so new Yoshi platformer not recycling Yoshis Island's exact concept) would be OK, too, though.

I'll ask a New Yoshi's Story using a tech similar to Paper Mario so that it can appear like a book with papercraft that turn 3D when you open it... I don't know hot to call it in english. Would be nice.

But any 2D games will be welcome.

Looks like N1 will live to see another day.

Their estimations aren't always absolutely reliable but usually they aren't that far from the actual numbers. We'll know next week for sure but at least that information is encouraging.
