Arent the Yakuza games really big with high production values? They must have rotating teams to be able to pump them out year after year like Ubisoft.

Anyway, what are NSMBWii's chances of passing 4 mil by this year?

Could you tell us your independent variables and the t-values of the regression coefficients? we could then get that good at guessing as well;)

Wii games' list in the chart is pretty depressing... Any third party game that has a chance of entering the top 10 in the coming months, or we'll have wait for DQX ?
if it's still coming for Wii

I wonder of Namco has plans for God Eater on consoles? It seems to have filled the niche of no new MH on the PSP pretty well (better than anything else at least). Might do the same for the lack of MH on the PS3.

Then again, considering the budget needed to do it well, probably not.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

I Know but.... Still, for à budget release it is sellin very well - should reach 100K in 2 weeks.

Ouch at that Zettai Hero drop, I hoped it would be softer (kinda like the Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! 3D).

It's just becoming more frontloaded basically. Still, very nice sales.
NSMB actually goes up, it seems it's stabilizing around 35k.

The first and second games in the series each sold around 700k, which is more than Kenzan and the third by quite a bit. Probably more the Yakuza 4, if it has similar legs to three.

Zettai Hero... ;_;

Hurry up with the Disgaea 4, NIS.

It's going to take at least 10 months for it to come out, unless they really half ass it, so don't expect it in 2010. The Zettai Hero team is identical to the Disgaea 3 team. A ton of people worked on the game.

700k only after adding the cheaper best versions. I think Yakuza 3 has a best version too. Not charted at all?

It just came out this year. In Jan I think. Budget re-releases are slow burners and sell lover the course of a year or two.

Not to start this topic yet again, but right now the Wii's release list is virtually empty, as it has been since January. Its the end of March and unless games are announced this week and next, the only 2 Nintendo releases to come out period in the first 5 months of the year will have been Reginleiv and Kensax. The only 3rd party game released the first 5 months of the year to even get above 30K or so will have been Darkside Chronicles in the beginning of January.

It's almost the end of March. There is no new Xenoblade info at all. The info well has dried up. Doesn't seem like it'll be out by May in this case. We'll be lucky it if even makes June. Delay confirmed?

Unless they plan to ship like, 10 copies nationwide, they'll have to announce a ship date more than 2 months in advance.

4 1st-party Wii games.
4 3rd-party PS3 games.

There's really nothing to say that hasn't been said already. Maybe third-parties will put effort into a Wii 2. *shrugs*

Well, because eventually, the bottom will fall out of hardware sales. NSMB Wii is propping them up for the moment, but that will end.

Also, it doesn't seem like good business sense to treat your console like its dead.
