Make a good game, people will buy the sequel. Make a shoddy one with load times longer than the events and... not so much.

The market is learning. I consider this a good thing. Wii Sports Resort does well, M&S fails.

That said, the holidays will surely see a boost for M&S.

I don't remember it making huge waves. It did well in the US and really really well in Europe though.

I do remember people laughing at how poorly it was doing in sales compared with expectations right after it came out...and then it just kept going.

I don't think it's going to be that close in the end. Wii sales will pick up for the holidays, but I don't think they will pick up anywhere near enough to cope with the boost that FFXIII will bring to the PS3.

I can't imagine why every single PSP Go owner wouldn't be buying P3P on PSN. It's a big title. We can probably add at least 43k to the total. I'm sure people who bought the package game also bought it on PSN as well, just for faster loading. Persona fans are real collectors. I think we can add 50k to the total so far to account for PSN sales. That's a low estimate even.
