It was just like Infinite Space or w/e. It was like the game was only out for a single week.

PS3 up again!
duckroll said:I'm not sure where you're getting this idea from. Sega is the publisher of both versions of the game, Platinum Games is the developer.
cvxfreak said:Which comes out on top for 2009 can really come down to the difference of one week, which really says a lot about how close the PS3 and Wii truly are. A Wii victory won't mean very much, while a PS3 one will have huge implications.
Get on the ball, Iwata.

they benefit from the success of bayo.
Bayonetta is SEGA IP , profit or whatever all go for SEGA pocket , they already paid for PG to make the game.
SEGA doing PS3 version was the cheapest way for SEGA , instead of paying double money for PG they used their own studios to port the game.

PS3 will never catch up to Wii in either installed base or software sales, so what would be the rationale for that? If they're gonna move it anywhere, it would be to the DS.Mrbob said:The real question is, if the PS3 continues this upwards trend does this mean Square Enix will move DQX from the Wii to the PS3?

Seriously though, I have to wonder about where along the line the screwup occurred. Why was a second shipment so delayed?

PS3 3rd party sales are not monstrous, what encompasses the super high end? MGS4, RE5, each of which is neutralized in the grand scheme of things by MH3 and the 1st Taiko
I think things will pretty stay as is with few exceptions on each side in regards to 3rd party sales.

Sure, Nintendo will have one or two third party million sellers in Japan (MH3 this year and DQX in 2037) that will increase their total third party software sales number. But Ps3 will have more third party games that'll sell well.
It's pretty ignorant to say that Ps3 doesn't have anything outside of FFXIII.
