If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
I expected big number from OP - but 130K is really nice :)

edit

Damn no 6 already under 10K - 3DS needs to be released asap....

Apparently something major is happening with One Piece recently in terms of the manga developments, and has boosted its popularity significantly in recent months. Everything released this year for One Piece is selling way better because of this popularity boost.

Hasn't it already sold better than Prime 3?
Yeah, but that's Prime 3, no achievement in that whatsoever. Especially when they went over all that trouble to expand the franchise in Japan.

edit: So when is the King gonna settle down, all this back and forth has me tired :p

Possibly, but it won't be nearly as pronounced as last year if it does occur.

What wizword said. Last year, more than half of Wii's total YTD advantage came during the final week alone.

listen to the mad man
Chris, I'd never heard that Nintendo was doing a Fossil Diggers/Fighters sequel. But you're right, here it is. Apparently it was announced or the website was opened or whatever today.

I also didn't know that The Last Story was still a '10 release; I assumed that last "delay" meant 'a '11 release.

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.

Go, Other M, go!
Let's get an Other M 2 out the door before the Wii is dead - excited to see where the new, real Samus adventures next.

Major stuff has been going on for a couple of years now in the One Piece manga. :lol

Right now the manga is on hiatus. I believe this week is the third out of four that the series is on break (the only break of this length in the manga's 13 year history). It's basically taking September off.

It'll sell well enough world wide to justify a sequel. I don't mind her characterization in the game so I wouldn't mind seeing more.

It's doing a break/probably a timeskip right now.

That tends to reinvigorate shonen manga, though One Piece has never really been doing that badly.

its great and all but with team ninja making Ninja Gaiden 3DS, Ninja Gaiden 3 and DOA Dimensions i see little chance that they will go back and make a sequel

quite a shame really.

I just want it to validate itself for Nintendo to consider it a strong franchise. Hoping they can reach that 1.5 - 2 million worldwide.

its great and all but with team ninja making Ninja Gaiden 3DS, Ninja Gaiden 3 and DOA Dimensions i see little chance that they will go back and make a sequel

quite a shame really.

Well, Nintendo could always take the development back fully in-house.

Apparently something major is happening with One Piece recently in terms of the manga developments, and has boosted its popularity significantly in recent months. Everything released this year for One Piece is selling way better because of this popularity boost.
Actually it seems that the movie Strong World was the major reason for the surge.

I just want it to validate itself for Nintendo to consider it a strong franchise. Hoping they can reach that 1.5 - 2 million worldwide.

I don't see how in the world this could reach Metroid Prime numbers, I mean I'll eat a whole plate of crow if I'm wrong on this (and you can even PM me if I forget about it) but I pretty much doubt it'll have any impact in the US.
And as for considering it a strong franchise, they actually finished their e3 09 conference with that, I can't see how bigger they could consider it especially when you see the net result (and btw it did jackshit to move the hardware in Japan so lower your expectations already...).

at this point, it looks like Other M would be lucky to match even Zero Mission worldwide.
