Great 2nd week for MHXX. Though I wonder if MC adjusted their sales data after undertracking them last week.

Same for the Switch, despite the lack of new releases.

Oh, and I see SMM3DS is at 1m retail, now.

Wow at Switch. This is why I can't find any anywhere.

I am Setsuna is hard to find on shelves these days. WS it a super small shipment? There goes buying it cheap soon.

Only 60% drop is really good. MHXX has surprisingly good legs.

Yup, maybe Capcom could save some face against the investors. And it seems that Nintendo is giving better Switch shipments?

I'd wait for Famitsu, it might just be Media Create adjusting the numbers since their FW sales were so different.

Excellent performance from the Switch, the system seller(s? with Splatoon 2 :p) are doing stupendously well for the console.

It's amazing seeing the Japanese charts have a bit of life in them again! Looking at 3DS and PS4 sales as healthy runner ups, hope this can continue for a while still but we'll see.

(and next up would be puyo puyo tetris with about 4%, but it's outside of the mc charts)

Bomberman is doing really well

Took a few weeks for Switch hype to die down just enough for Minecraft to come back.
Pretty huge drop for Peach Beach Splash... Ouch

I suspect it having English built in and it not getting a western physical release meant that it was a fairly popular import too.

wow didn't expect that much of a bump for switch solely due to stock reasons. Seems production increase is starting to hit the market.

BoTW may end up being one of the best selling Zelda's in japan. I wouldn't be surprised if it has crazy long legs and stays selling good for a long time and is a evergreen title in Japan.

Splatoon2 is going to destroy japan when it comes around.

If Japanese publishers were taking a wait and see with the switch before they devoted big recourses to the system I think they have their answer. These numbers will probably hold for the most part until splatoon2, and then that system will keep pushing good numbers for months which will take it to the holiday season.

Any worries that the switch will be Wii U redux should be pretty much gone at this point.

Splatoon really switched it up one gear.

If Nintendo does several more testfires until the release of Splatoon they might not even need any other games in Japan until then.

What do console zelda numbers look like in the past, anyway? I know it's not *huge* in Japan (and I guess as a corollary, does it do better on portable, and does that mean Switch is 'portable enough' for the Japanese audience?)

All hints were saying MH had a very strong second week, Famitsu won't be very different. Media Create had lower first week but similar shipment.

That's 2m copies sold between the 3DS and the WiiU, I wonder If a switch port can push it up to 3m

You can definitely tell Switch stock was replenished. No new releases, and yet a large spike not only in hardware but in software. Nintendo's got to be very pleased so far. This is definitely not Wii U.

Probably a mix of a small shipment and it being targeted by importers. Took me a while but I managed to track down a copy myself. It wasn't easy.
