Another good week for Nintendo. Solid numbers for Nintendo Switch hardware and Kirby on first spot is great. It is just a matter of time for it cross the 500k mark.

It will, but the combined Switch + 3DS sales continue to drop YoY which is a bit of a problem.

Yes while Switch is selling great you’ve got to wonder if having all your eggs in one basket and foregoing having a home console and handheld in favour of a hybrid is going to result in more hardware sold and ultimately more profits for Nintendo.

I guess there’s other advantages to Nintendo and indeed 3rd parties in only having to support one piece of hardware.

I still believe that a 3DS sucessor might be announced. Be a Switch Mini Handheld only or something like that. And I was wondering why Snack World for Switch was not in top ten, and then I realized that this is not the data from April 09th to 15th. We are one week behind the schedule here.
