How about people?

That's a hidden feature but yes, I can confirm that the saddle works with people.

We at Sony believe that having options is the best option. If you like horses, games or if you're a more traditional fan of S&M, buying our Vita bundle with complementary unicorn and saddle is the best bang for your buck.

With a 14,222 yen vita and a umd reader, how would it increase 3ds sales? You can't play psp games on 3ds.
Notwithstanding that your scenario is unlikely...

I get the feeling PSP/PSV is more PSP/PSV than PSP/PSV, i.e. without PSP support, what little PSV had would move entirely to 3DS.

so basically vita is sexy etc.

So with Wii Fit U and Game and Wario now moved out of the launch window in America, is there actually a chance both of them don't make it out in Japan?

At first I thought Nintendo might miss the forecasts by 2 million, and now it's looking like it will be closer to 3. Combine that with the 3DS projection that is going to not be met, and I don't see how Nintendo doesn't either A) get slaughtered by investors B) announced everything they have in development in an emergency to stave them off.

Shares of companies have reaction to analysts and speculations. However, about your last point - do you think Nintendo would need to react that swiftly (announcement), to appease investors? Aren't high power investors (especially ones in Nintendo) usually more level headed, less volatile to reaction than fans of a company? With the secretive, mysterious nature that has always surrounded Nintendo (and their EAD), wouldn't they understand the concept of the long game? If they've invested that heavily into a company, they must certainly understand the nature/way in which the company functions...more so than anyone here. I doubt Nintendo/investors are that reactive to one another. They understand business.

I don't see why Nintendo would delay launch of those games in USA/EU which are much more important markets while pushing them ealier in Japan.
It's not like they have 30k lines of dialogue to translate and make VA for.

Well Wii Party came out months earlier in japan.

Yeah NSMBU's attach ratio continues to be really impressive. It's definitely the primary driving factor. I really can't tell if Nintendo made the right decision with no NL bundles in Japan as the game is doing decently anyway.

Does anyone know if fantasy life is supply constrained or has interest in it tapered off?

That game is looking like a surprise hit, I hope it finds its legs.

It's supply constrained. Guess it will climb back when supply is ready.

Interesting that weekly sales of NL will be greater than NSMBU next week if the trend continues.

It's also still holding on to place 3 in the recent 3DS software download charts in the eShop. Since NSMB2 launch only AC and FL really have made an impression in those charts as far as retail downloads are concerned. AC being the one that also made #1 in the all time charts, in record time. NSMB2 stalling at 11 for a while now, other retail games yet to enter the top 20.

Niiiice! It's probably at 1.5k or something, but I'm glad to see it's having legs.

I've noticed a bigger than expected decrese in weekly sales (compared to the previous "legs" shown) after the DD release. not saying that those numbers are great, but could be interesting to know them in order to understand which is the actual LTD possible range of the game.

It's performing really well, imho.

Best 3D Mario sales wise, no?
I know Nintendo seems to be taking a break from new 3DS Mario releases the first half of this year but I can't help feel 3D Land would be great Q4 this year.

Though this could be dependent on where Mario Universe falls

yes it's the best performing 3D mario in Japan in history, but I'm surprised by its legs. I mean: I tought that New Mario would have killed 3DLand, instead it was able to be in the charts until now.
me too I'd love to see a Mario Universe not so far away.

Yeah, unless we should consider both versions of Mario 64 on N64 and NDS as a single game.

I guess Nintendo has been working on a 3D Mario game for some time, but for Wii U this time around; as for the 3DS it has already had its share of Mario in its first two years(Mario 2D + 3D, Mario kart, Paper Mario, Mario tennis) and said games are going to have long legs as install base is growing further.

I think that next Mario's will be for Wii U too (don't know if 3D or Kart. Sales-wise would be better to have Kart, also because there is already a Mario platformer also if 2D, but I think that it also depends on which other games they'll present for next holiday season: if they are presenting Fit and Sport for the casual crowd during this year, probably would be better to have a 3D Mario for the more traditional core fans; if they are presenting "some more traditional-core title" to drag the sales after the Fit casual move, for the holidays than Kart would be better)

Only Mario, NL and MH3GU in Top 50, for Wii U? :/

Apparently Zombi U and Warriors Orochi haven't sold nearly as much as the top 3 games.

I didn't pay much attention to the lower software segment during the crazy hardware weeks. I guess I presumed ZombiU and whatever else was released to scrape the Top 40-50. But Wii U's biggest enemy is 3DS, which is not too bad for Nintendo at this point :p

I heard, anyway, that ZombiU is still the 4th best selling game, and Tekken is over 20k.

So with Wii Fit U and Game and Wario now moved out of the launch window in America, is there actually a chance both of them don't make it out in Japan?
People are jumping the gun with that, all that's been said for both games is 1H. That means Q1 or Q2 yet, not only Q2.

Wii Fit U was always "spring" in Japan, so it would've been March at earliest in any case. Game & Wario also still says "early 2013" on NCL's site. I expect it'll be dated (probably for February) in the next Nintendo Direct.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
The last V-Jump shows Luigi's Mansion 2 (yeah, it's still 2 in Japan, while here it's Dark Moon) as a March release for Japan too.
