ive been following MC threads since 2011. Nice to be here .eager to see what this year Will bring on.

relative to this weeks numbers wow…Sonic is dead in Japan.dead and buried. and HW numbers are atrocious, guess its par for course on this period but man….

Smash is on top because its sales held better than most titles. Sales in general are pretty bad, although that's somewhat typical of the first weeks after Golden Week.

Sonic game sales have just been dead in JP for a while now. Probably middling game quality and went too western.

DEad? this is beyond dead. this is nonexistence. the WiiU games did a lot better if i recall. a 1st week initial shipment of 10k between PS4 and Switch and selling only 50% of it is hilariously bad

i find the hardware numbers worrying

i hope SMM2 finds success were Labo (semi) bombed, and drives HW to maintain the 25% up trend we were seeing this year

The Wii U games did horribly as well. Not sure where you're getting that from unless you're thinking of Mario & Sonic. Other than Mario & Sonic, nothing sells in JP for Sonic anymore.
