If that's the highest the Vita can bump, they are in a tough position this year. Every other month there will be a big game that will bump it to 20-30k for the week and then it'll fall back down to 10-15k again. That's...not good.

I think they're seeing the max sales they're going to get at this price point. Vita needs a $100 drop NOW.

Good week for Vita & Atlus! Hopefully Sony realizes it needs more high-profile games and gets on it.
I'm surprised to see that the 3DS is doing pretty well even though it doesn't have a high-profile release this week.
Also, poor Gon: Baku, it looks like a fun game.

Great week for Vita. Wouldn't say it's horrible sales at all, more than 50% increase for a remake.

Nice one Sony.

Also Tokyo Jungle still doing well.

Lollipop Chainsaw sold more than I expected. Tokyo Jungle has a great hold.

Stupid DQM3D supply issue for SE.

Amazing how the 3DS is holding without a strong release that week.

I think it's fair to regard "Fresh restocks of Dragon Quest" as a 'strong release', at least in terms of effect.

Fire Emblem's still holding its own among the trinity, although very low sales for those with the exception of Mario 3D Land. Still, the legs are very encouraging.

It was not realistic to expect an enhanced PS2 port to do much more, though. This is pretty much similar to the OOT3DS situation. Agree though...I'm sure Atlus is at least encouraged by this and will consider the platform viable for future titles.

Still not a great situation for Vita, but it'd be wrong not to recognise the potential for the platform that these results show. Persona in itself did very well too.

3DS staying so steady is nice to see too. What happens to 3DS hardware next week is one of the most interesting situations we've seen for a while.

Almost half of the top 20 is 3DS games, I'm not surprised the hardware is selling so well
3DS has hit a great stride with wide appealing software, new releases are almost not needed for a good while, it's found the sweet spot
New 3DS owners are buying into the older software, hence the great legs for those charting games

The divide between modern Persona style Atlus games and oldschool Atlus games is so great that I think SMT4 sales are going to be very interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if SMT4 doesn't do much better than SJ or EO games, maybe even less than Catherine. Hashino's game design style and Soejima's art definitely appeals to modern Japanese gamers and audiences in general way more.

Great result for Vita's HW and P$ numbers!
Very good result also for 3DS without any new release, and very good presence of 3DS software in the chart.
Also, finally god numbers also for Grasshopers!

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Didn't notice this before, but for the first time ever PSP is under 10k.

Wasn't SJ sort of screwed over by limited supply, which cut short its legs? Then again what's to say the same can't happen for SMT4. I wonder if SMT4 going first or third person has any bearing on its sales potential.

This is what I thought as soon as SMT4 was revealed, I think they will budget it in line with SJ/EO titles too
It'll probably be in first person like those games also

I think the White Vita releases in Japan next week, that should provide a boost.

That's next actual week, so the next week of sales (this week in Japan) will be a week of no Vita games and nothing new before the week where the white Vita (and MGS, which won't affect much) hits.

Amazing for Persona 4 Golden and Lollipop Chainsaw. Tokyo Jungle held pretty good too. And Dragon Quest as well, but that was expected i think.

software sells hardware, who would have thought. great for atlus, does any persona game come to 3DS? i'm interested in playing them.
