Square Enix would be proud of all the milking it has been done with Resident Evil 1 so far.

Seeing the performance on the US charts, i agree. I expected more from Wii Play, but i think the mini-game ship has sailed.Busaiku said:I really don't think Nintendo's very happy with Wii Play Motion.

FINALFANTASYDOG said:I see the explanation for this as possibly:
1. 3d naming problems, this is a brand new entry in the series but calling it class of heroes 3d confuse things(thus perhaps 2g is a better comparison)
2. The elementary-school/middle school market(game is heavily geared towards them) isn't in possession of 3ds yet, makes me really looking forward to how pokemon is going to do.
Rhythm Heaven belongs to mini-games and has the potential to be this year's first million seller, Wii Party did great, Itadaki Street will be fine and Mario Party 9 could be the best selling Mario Party ever.Kid Ying said:Seeing the performance on the US charts, i agree. As for Level-5, I think they'll find this news very encouraging. Ratings for The Little Battlers Xperience have shot up dramatically in the past few weeks post game release.
I dont think that would do anything. Its pretty clear that sony as a worldwide entity has decided to move most of its development resources to their US first parties. Cant really blame them as the US is just too big a market compared to Japan. At least take solace in the fact that the JP devs left are generally very good (Team Ico, polyphony)noobie said:Who is the head of SCEJ?
Maybe they need change of head?
Chris1964 said:Pokemon did it again.
The new movie for first time has two versions like the game, was this known? (to non-Pokemon maniacs I mean)
Out of curiousity I googled it and it appears that most of them are aesthetic differences but the plot is basically the same. Different pokemon appear depending on which version of the movie you watch and certain sequences are altered such as in one movie there is a fork in the path and they go left to a hot dessert but in the other movie they take a right towards a snowy area.Mpl90 said:Ok,this is too much EVEN for them :lol :lol
When is the movie out?
Can they even link both the versions to...let's say...a new Mystery Dungeon? :lol
I'd rather want Sony to invest in new SCEJ games instead of another Resistance, Socom or Killzone those games don't do that great anyway so I don't really understand their focus on developing games that the third parties could make. How about they let Guerilla team-up with one of their Japan teams, the result could be something quite cool.jling84 said:I dont think that would do anything. Without complete European numbers we can't talk for worldwide sales. Last quarter's shipments will show if 3DS sales were bad or very bad.Sennorin said:I´m not sure if I am the correct person to ask for it, but reading the latest doom and gloom-discussion in the MML3-cancellation topic:
Could someone who´s knowledgeable about worldwide system sales create a new topic about the 3DS´ sales history *so far*? Point of the topic would be to have a facts-supported debate about its success/failure.
Personally, I´ve lost track abot how good/bad 3DS is going, so I´d find such a topic interesting. Just an idea, though.
It was also produced by SPD1, of Metroid, Wario Ware, Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Collection fame. And yeah, it's developer list was a real all-star group.electroplankton said:By the way, Wii Play Motion had some of the most talented Japanese niche software house worked on it, such as Skip (Chibi-robo, Captain Rainbow), Chun Soft. Judging from COMGnet's preorder, it should be something very big.
Already? It took more than GBA and DS.demosthenes said:A new color....already? Wow.

They have 25 studios(or more?), you suggest Nintendo should be able to put out almost 100 first party games every 3 years?Still, for a company having two systems is this enough? Every Nintendo's studio should be able to at least develop two games at once.
