First Day Sellthrough:

PSV Oreshika 2 - 60% (quite good volume of copies)

Interesting. I really hope it does well, this has been confirmed to be coming to the US? Vita needs more stylized rpgs like this so developers can stop pandering to the "rub this chick" audience

Doubt it, way too expensive, un-interesting genre, unproven IP, subscription fee required, can't play when during your free time (this is not unique to PS4, but all consoles).

Wii sports club bundle: I don't know what Nintendo was thinking, this is the least interesting Wii U bundle I've seen, I think I'm going to wait to get my Wii U until they have something better to offer. :(

It's not a bundle, just the retail version of the game.

First Day Sellthrough:

PSV Oreshika 2 - 60% (quite good volume of copies)
PS3 Atelier Shallie - 50-60%
3DS Gundam Tri Age - 30%
3DS Hamatora - 20% (small shipment)
PS3 PS4 Murdered - 20%

3DS Hoppechan - 10%
WIU Wii Sports Club - ... ... ...

Hoping for 80-100k first week.

It seems doable, at least above 50-60k is a lock now which is a rather good news

EDIT :
Well since it's a hot topic.
Oreshika 2

And it's currently at #47 in the best selling games of 2014 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/bestsellers/2014/videogames/

Game is in between Zelda (180k+) Animal Crossing (135k+) Diablo 3 (77k+) Pro Baseball Spirits 2014 PS3 (127k+) Miku F 2nd PS3 (88k+), Gundam Side Stories (94k+) and Yakuza Ishin PS4 (122k) in the Amazon Ranking.

Sales coming from Famitsu Top 100 First Half of 2014

Second game sold more in one week than the original's lifetime sales... What? Is some sort of pokemon variant.

60k FW would be bad because this game will probably stop selling after a month.

Anyway I don't buy that comment about no more JRPGs. WKC PS4 is coming they can't fool me.

Mmm the second option it's not gonna happen xD that book costs more than 33.000 yen. I could buy a Wii U instead lol
I will try to do the library thing. Seems tedious but it's the only option we have now... I don't promise anything, though.

The Frozen news are amazing o_O

Yeah, going to a library pretty much requires a day-off. But, if you or anyone else living in Japan finds time to waste, the idea is just to go to the library, make copies of the top 1000 from the White Paper; if that not allowed, take pictures of it; if that not allowed, take pictures anyway, hidden from the staff. =P

As for Frozen:

Day 1: 661,000
Day 2: 252,000
Day 3: 133,000 / 1,046,000

First Blu-Ray to ever cross 1 million.
First DVD+BR to reach 1 million since My Neighbor Totoro (2010).
First DVD+BR from Disney to reach 1 million since Finding Nemo (2004).
First DVD+BR to have a opening week over 1 million since Spirited Away (2001) (1,406,000 first week).

http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2039974/full/

Numbers look good for Oreshika 2. I wonder what will be Sony excuse for not making other JRPGs.

Atelier Shallie sellthrough looks good too, but I wonder how big was the shipment. The series seems to be decreasing in popularity.

I'm planning to do it in my natsu-yasumi in August. And yeah, i'll take photos from the book, if it's not allowed i'll just say i didn't understood well. It's an excuse it always work when you're a gaijin living in Japan xD

She says that Vita and Oreshika 2 are selling in a good shape.
Tha launch of Oreshika 2 is making the values packs still popular this week.
Adults that played the series long time ago are buying the game as well, players between 25-30 years old.

You can do it Oreshika, With a comment like that, I wonder how many copied did they ship?

I hope Atelier Shallie opens up higher than Echa.

Yo if this actually gets us a new Wild Arm game....

So what's the ranking for the actual Wii u game is not up/high enough?

Don't think it's on there yet... is it?

Edit: It's there, and it is #5...

Also I spotted that Hamster is bringing Zumba Fitness Wii U to JP, random.

Edit: FF2 is #441, must've been an error!

Edit: OH, I miss read above as Amazon when you meant Yodobashi! XD Well mine is Amazon JP data for your convenience!

Other than Smash (3DS) and MH4, pretty meh numbers. Surprised SK2 isn't charting higher... guess it doesn't include the DX Pack? You generally specify it when it does.

As for HW, I think we should all brace for bomba. Probably not TW101 levels of bomba, but a bomba nonetheless.
