It has surely broken 1 million with digital in Japan.
Currently sitting at nearly 64% attach rate w/out digital less than a month after launch, should easily climb to 70% in the upcoming weeks.

I would expect numbers to back down after Obon to some extent- 50-60K.

40-60K is a safe estimate after the holidays. That should keep it in touching distance to post-price cut 3DS until the ramp up for the fall.

Switch numbers are great and the next big hit Monster Hunter XX is just around the corner. Seeing how well MHXX is holding up on 3DS (lol not this week) I think there will be quite a lot of people buying the Switch version.

I'm not too sure it'll be a "big hit" but still sell well. LTD of 250k maybe?

Looking at pre-order charts this doesn't seem to be the case - only MHXX Switch bundles can really save the launch at this stage.

It's been more than 3 weeks after the Splatoon 2 launch. If the number increased is solely due to the so-called "stockpile", by now the number should have dropped back to the previous norm; an it clearly hasn't. It might still not be enough but it has increased like Nintendo's apology/announcement has suggested.

We really won't know until after the holiday if Nintendo intends to keep shipping numbers like they have been the past 3 weeks.

Funny, it's a holiday week yet all the consoles except Switch sold less than the previous week (of course the release of Dragon Quest XI rose PS4 and 3DS sales previously).

Using the Square Enix claim PS4 did best first week I believe digital on PS4 was better than most expected.
