Well Rythm Heaven dropped a lot less this week... Hope it stabilize and even gets a boost during the holiday. It deserves to sell well. And seeing another console million seller would be exciting.

3DS held better than I expected, but I think it'll keep dropping in sales until there's new interesting software out. September and October seem a bit barren right now :/ Maybe we'll get new announcement at the Nintendo conference? (like a Kid Icarus date?)

And MH dropped massively... It still sold a lot for a very simple port.

Yeah, or they will reach the goals at the same time. Xbox 360 only needs to sell 1158 units. I think that it will manage to do that fine. I could see that PS3 reaches 60k next week.

There's only one next-generation system out now and the rest are in their twilight years or soon to be. It will get more exciting the next couple of years.

3DS is starting to stabilize. Hopefully Nintendo announces something big for October to help prevent it falling before the holidays.

It could fall to 15,000 units a week before the end of the year and it wouldn't be too much of a concern, what with Monster Hunter coming this year. No worries.

The 3DS drops are getting smaller. It's beginning to settle. Definitely looking at 35k when it levels off.

Not this week, but in the coming weeks, when there's a lack of software for almost 2 months.
Though it's certainly stabilizing better than I though, so maybe it won't get there.

With the current sales of the PS3 being quite good, it would be a bit worrying if one its most anticipated title for the year doesn't boost it past 50K.

And that DQ Slime game. Even Vita is going to have trouble beating it in sales, especially since Japan probably doesn't care as much about the add-on as we do.

Does anyone has any comparisons to similar enhanced Ports? I think it's a bit low, but I can't remember a similar case.

Maybe Growlanser IV Over Reloaded (haha what a weird name) for the PSP? Started at 21k. Not sure if you can make the comparison though, I don't know how much the original sold :/

That's actually a good comparison, as the original Growlanser IV did as well as the original Devil Survivor (roughly 107k).

Based on this week's numbers 3DS sales might be on track to stabilize around the 40k mark.
If there aren't further surprises which change the 3DS market situation again..........like a new model announced for December with dual sticks XD
PS3 is doing pretty well, the lineup is strong for the rest of the year and the price drop will help people on the fence to jump in, there will be a nice growth compared to last year.
