Didn't Kamiya keep saying to look towards magazines in the near future for a first look at Bayo 2?

That would be fantastic but I really think Nintendo have reined in any Nintendo-platform announcements for Nintendo Directs to make the biggest global impact.

Just 70k when Marvelous confirmed that more than 90k copies were sold? Famitsu seems to stop tracking very early...

That's one of the reasons why I prefer Media Create numbers.

Actually, I've put the 70k, since Famitsu stopped at second week's LTD (almost 62k). I'll change it again just when Famitsu will give us the right number. Nicola Kanshuu is the other one being really affected by this lack of updates ( it should be around 60-70k according to MC numbers, but Famitsu hasn't updated it).

We only having numbers from the weekly top 30 and such does not equal "Famitsu stopped tracking". The games are still selling and Famitsu is still tracking, we just don't see it.

If you want the latest and most up to date number from Famitsu, you can pay for full access to f-ism: http://www.f-ism.net/net/index.html

I suspect NOE will bring IE3 Spark/Bomber in Q1 2013 and just skip Ogre entirely before going to Go. Are they keeping releases pretty well timed with the show?
France, Italy and Spain are ahead of the games by far. Italy and Spain have almost caught up to Japan, and that's even after those countries getting the movies cut up into episodic format and inserted as part of the TV anime for free.

Thanks. My mistake. I thought that famitsu updated the end of the year, like Media Create does. If 70k isn't the final number I'll wait.

Still, I'll go for Media Create.

Famitsu has already published their white paper with the Top 1000 for the end of 2011. We just don't have it.

If anyone in Japan has the free time to check for it at a nearby library...

It's finally time for Inticreates to reveal that online 3DS game they teased last year. I'm surprised we didn't hear anything about it at TGS.

Dragon Marked for Death, which is actually published (probably created) by MarvelousAQL since they were the ones to bring it up, Inti Creates was name-dropped as the developer.

FUCK I am psyched to see this, show it already MAQL!

Wow that's still a thing? I assumed It was silently canned along with inafune's king of pirates

Glorious.

Vita 6.134

Worst week ever according to Media Create.

And it's going to continue to get worse until Sony see sense and cut the price. There have been a few decent titles released for it since it launched but it's just too expensive for the average gamer to take the plunge.

And if Sony and Microsoft have the PS4 and 720 retailing for more than 400 dollars/pounds you'll see those two consoles struggling out of the gate too, no matter what hardware is under the hood.

this has probably been asked before but Chris or whoever, what do you think they'll do for Wii U abbreviation for Media Create?

[WiiU] that'll probably still be to big

Don't know why GEIMIN.net hasn't updated with it. They got it months ago. May have to consider other means (that take more time to process) to get it...

MC doesn't put brackets around the titles. That's just for posting there. Vita is 'Vita'. 360 is 'XB360'. Wii U will probably just be 'WiiU' or 'Wii U'. They don't have some three character limit going on for the official listings.

Sorry people, I didn't know numbers were more outdated than what the date suggested.

That's why it says, 'Total known software sales' at the bottom of every game search, and if you actually click on the game and view its sales data you can clearly see the date when the LTD was last updated.

Project X Zone's first shipment - 148.634

Final Fantasy Gaiden: 4 Warriors of Light - 161.296

Basically, BD and FFG had the same shipment, but BD did MUCH better in spite of it. Interesting.
